Working with Belleair car rental has been a great experience! They kept us informed every step of the way, great communication. If you're looking for an affordable rental car and personal customer service, I highly recommend them. A++ service!!! Couldn't have been easier dealing with Belleair Rent a Car! My husband and I got into PIE late, Eddy texted us where to find our rental. It was right where he said it was! Upon drop off, Eddy was right there to pick up the vehicle. Easy as pie! Great experience, will definitely use Belleair again!!!Review from rob c

Terrible rental experience. Charged twice the amount advertised on website. Given older vehicle with nearly ******* miles. *** a wheel vibration and he claimed to have no other vehicles to swap out. After I left the state he tried to tack on a ****** dollar plus charge without my knowledge or authorization. Predatory and dishonest.Belleair Rent-A-Car, LLC Response

Let's clear the air, shall we? Absolutely, we provide a range of excellent services, such as delivering the rental car directly to the customer's hotel or condo. And Yes! There is a cost associated with these extra services!
As for tolls, they are indeed the customer's responsibility to cover, much like gas expenses.
We also just rent locally. Occasionally, individuals who fail to inform us of their destination during the reservation process end up traveling to places like ***** or ********, or worse, those who deceive us by claiming to stay local but end up in ******* or **********

Great experience from start to finish! Owner was very accommodating, brought the car to me and then picked it up in the airport parking lot, which I really appreciated! Super convenient! We were traveling for an 8 week stay in Indian Rocks, Florida. We needed a car and decided to give BELLEAIR Rent-A-Car a call. Elon, the owner, was very friendly and made the transaction extremely easy. He was knowledgeable about the SUV, He went through the car with detail and patience. Most car rentals leave you blind for you to figure out the car's features. Since each car is different, this made it easy to drive away with confidence. There were no hidden charges and the paperwork was quick and easy. Elon was very professional and told us about the area. His mannerism was like we were borrowing a car from a friend. I would recommend anyone to rent a vehicle from BELLEAIR Rent-A-Car. I know when I return to Indian Rocks, I will certainly call him. Rented an older car from ****, his personal car, with over 150,000 miles. Car was used for 2 days. The rental was for 6. I was warned the car had a broken rear brake light, serious unsafe & dangerous piece out of right rear tire, adjustable mirrors not working. I was forced to return the car as it was unsafe & illegal to drive in that condition. I requested a credit for 4 days as the return was forced & entirely not my fault. Mike accepted the car & said he would contact ****. **** refused to credit me for not being able to use his car. He sent an offer for a discount for a future rental. As a disabled senior veteran over 78 years of age, I feel this is predatory action & discrimination against a senior. Their claim they can't credit customers because of a Covid 19
crisis is dubious & of questionable veracity. I would not recommend renting from this company. As an example, PREDATORY lending to seniors is a SERIOUS criminal offense. I personally feel this may be similar.Belleair Rent-A-Car, LLC Response

We are sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant experience.
When you brought back the vehicle, Mike offered help and was ready to do what was needed! Replacing a light bulb on spot; but you did NOT give him a chance, or any other option! You just said that you had rented another vehicle and was returning ours.
Also, when contacted over the phone on the same day, you repeated, and I quote;
"I already rented another one and NO longer need ours! Thank you"
Now bringing a untruth about safety!? That is NOT right at all!
All our vehicles are USED and in Excellent Condition! But if you are looking for a "Spanking New Car" we may not be what you're looking for.... Please try Hertz & Enterprise. The BIG Guys at the airport will probably be a better fit for you.

This is an outright LIE & deception. The car had a defect in the right rear passenger side tire in addition to the defective light with adjustable mirrors not working Elon rented his badly damaged personal car with multiple dents & scratches not in Excellent Condition as they describe their regular rentals. Ref: 123- TES Chevrolet Malibu BK because he said no other cars were available. No other vehicle was offered. I returned the car before noon. The phone contact was much later from Elon.
REF: Receipt Sat, Apr16,2022 at 3:41PM. about 4 hours after returning the unsafe & defective car, not a part of their actual fleet. Ref: Invoice #** From 04/13/2022 11:00:00 AM To: 04/18/2022 11:00:00 AM a TOTAL of 5 days. Note dishonest addition of an additional day under description Days 6 Additionally my credit card was used in a dishonest unauthorized manner. Elon used it for a deposit of $100.00.
He then at the same time use it for $225.96 which was not due until the car was returned. This was actually in my opinion Criminal Theft. Ref: Invoice Balance Due. Bill To ***** is falsified because she had no contact with or signed any documents & was not present when I ALONE rented Elons already defective personal vehicle. Elon witnessed & approved her signature & initials being FORGED. Mike never offered to repair the light & replace the defective tire. If he had it would have taken hours. I did not rent another car from any other car rental agency & there is no record of such. I may contact, Law Enforcement, the IRS & Immigration & Senior Predatory Law enforcement concerning this business & credibility using BelAir Rent -A-Car, Bell-Air-Motor Cars & Bell Air Auto Sales.Belleair Rent-A-Car, LLC Response

We always ensure our customers receive a prompt response. When the ***** Malibu was making you uncomfortable, you could have called or texted me for an exchange. I would have arranged another vehicle for you immediately.
