Perfect Pear was contracted to wash my house, pool enclosure and clean my gutters. They arrived for the job approximately four hours ahead of the scheduled time. The representative informed that he was the owner of the company. He proceeded to clean the contracted areas. He left before the house was completely dry. Once everything dried, I noticed a large spot on the exterior side of the house. I contacted the owner, DeLand, and he said he would have his customer service rep, Fred, reach out to me. Fred came to my house and agreed the spot was caused by the cleaning solution and said the solution had not been properly rinsed from the house. Fred agreed to send technicians back to rinse the spot again. The technicians arrived a few days later and said yes, the cleaning solution was not properly rinsed and they identified a further spot that I had not noticed and said they would reclean and rinse both areas. However, the spot again dried as a watermark and appears that the damage to the paint has already been done. I reached out to Fred again and he said he would have the owner, DeLand, get in touch with me. He offered further reassurance that the "iron clad" guarantee was in force and they would rectify the situation. I have attached a photo of their guarantee. This was over a week ago. I now get the voicemail when I call and my messages are not returned. I would like them to fix the spot either by cleaning their solution off or repainting it or refund my money as specified in their guarantee.

    Business response

    09/19/2022

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/08/11) */ June 20 2022 - Deland showed early to start the soft washing on the home. Customer was satisfied with the service on that day July 12 2022 - Fred showed up 1 hour early to Mrs. ****** home and took photos and he explained to her that he would get with the office and have technicians show up. July 19 2022 - 2 of our technicians showed up to Mrs. ******'s home 2 hours early and they used the water sprayer to get the white film off of the home, instead of it being a permanent correction it only ended up being a temporary correction and the spot came back. July 19 2022 - Mrs. ****** contacted Fred and explained to him the spot went away when it was wet but when the spot dried up the white showed up again. So, at this time Fred told Mrs. ****** that he would have the office or Deland contact Mrs. ****** and see if we can come up with another resolution. July 27 2022 - Cody (Office Manager) seen the BBB complaint that was sent through by Mrs. ****** So He contacted her to figure out what issues have happened and was going to come up with a resolution. At this time Mrs. ****** did express that she was upset that our employees keep showing up early to the appointments that we setup. She was also upset that the white film was on the side of her home. Cody did apologize for the miscommunication and told her that he will have Deland (owner) come out to her home and do a walk through and rectify the situation. July 28 2022- Deland went out to Mrs. ******'s home and walked around the home with her. When they came to the white spot on the side of the home Deland noticed there was a sprinkler head that was facing up against the wall. So what happened was the first time we came out and did the soft wash on the home it took all the grease and dirt and bacteria off the home which left it completely clean. Now since the home was clean the sprinkler sprayed on the side of the home which caused a calcium buildup and that's where the white spot came from was the sprinkler system. Not the soft wash that a perfect Pear did. July 28 2022 - Cody followed up with Mrs.******** and told her that Deland would be back out to her home on 8/2/22 and he will get the calcium off the wall. August 2 2022 - Deland arrived at Mrs. ******'s home and he used efflo (Calcium Remover) to get off the calcium off the home. He was able to get the spot taken care of and stayed until it dried then he showed Mrs. ****** that the calcium was off and she was good to go. Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/08/17) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The spot is better but not completely gone as DeLand left before it completely dried. Would not recommend this company and would not use their services again. Three of the employees say the spot was caused by leaving the cleaning solution on the house too long, but DeLand is emphatic that it was not caused by his solution but that cleaning "revealed" the stain. Had I known stains were going to be "revealed" I would have skipped cleaning as this doesn't really make sense to pay money to have stains revealed on your house.
