    On May 14, 2014 we purchased a new liftMaster garage door opener from Trinity garage door service ***** they issued to us, in writing, a 10 year defective materials and workmanship including installation warranty and *****, Owner: has refused and is continuing to refuse to honor that warranty. Because he has refused to honor the warranty and the door opener quit working I called discount garage door ***** they also sell the LiftMaster garage door openers, they came and replaced the garage door opener and I paid them $314 for a new garage door opener including their labor for what Trinity garage door service was supposed to have covered under their warranty. Trinity garage door Services owes me $314 and I demand that they reimburse that according to their 10 year warranty

    Business response

    Business response taken verbally by BBB;

    This customer has been very verbally abusive towards ************** and made threats against the technician and owner. We were out there to do a diagnostic on his garage door that is not under warranty with us at this time. After advising him of the recommended repairs and the cost involved he began to get extremely irate, profane, and threatening and kicked our tech off the property. Additionally there is no warranty with us so we are unable to cancel and refund it, this customer may be confused and be talking about the manufacturer's warranty. If they want that warranty cancelled and refunded they would need to contact the manufacturer of the product. At this time due to how the customer has treated our tech and threatened our owner, we refuse to have any further interactions with them.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    You have a JPEG of the total 10 year warranty document and an additional JPEG of the bottom of that 10 year warranty with a big X on the 10 year warranty so - - - *****, another so-called Christian ******** owner is a liar and the document proves he is a liar.

    *****, the owner and *****, the technician are lying beyond imagination. *****, his technician never turned the motor off on his pickup truck, not one time did he check the garage door opener and I asked him three times check the garage door opener and he became verbally abusive so I simply told him that I would not take his abuse and he could leave.  he is lying concerning giving or presenting to me any kind of estimated repairs, that is a blatant lie.   What ***** is not fully understanding, his Creator God and my Creator and Saving God, ***********************, is not just my witness but he is a witness to everything - - - including this document that I am sending to you. The so-called threats, I left a voice message telling him that I wanted to talk to his Pastor and his Elders and let them decide, thats how Christians settle grievances according to ******* chapter 18 verses 15 through 17, he should still have that voicemail on his cell phone and I would not be ashamed whatsoever to have you listen to it.

    The documents proved you had a shadow of a doubt that ****, his technician that installed the garage door opener, has his name at the top left of the document and at the very bottom of the document he put a large X on the 10 year warranty, youll see the check number that I paid him with listed there and my signature is listed there. That is a 10 year warranty document.

    Im finding it interesting as well that Ive sent him a registered letter that included a copy of our ********************************************************************************** a return of that letter.

    You can tell him from me that he is not dealing with you, the Better Business Bureau in truth and or in good faith.

    Sincerely,

    *****************************
