This complaint is for moving fraud. I have paid Imperial and ************************************************* $3682.25 to date for this move. Please see the transactions below.$1296.00 - ***************** Deposit to Imperial via on-line checks ($996.00- 5/3/22 PNC Bank On-line check, and, $300.00 - 6/10/22 VISA)$75.00 - June 14 - Zelle Payment to Salem Matar who loaded the furniture in ************ $2311.25 - June 14 - Zelle Payment to All Year Moving **************** Lines / ************************************************* departed ************, **, with our furniture, June 14, 2022. We gave a move-in date in *********, ** of June 24, 2022. We were told that delivery in ********* would be one to three weeks from the business day after the move-in day, which would have been July 27th, 2022. ************************************************* has the furniture and we have been unable to get a hold of them for nearly two months. **************** Lines were the contractor, but the bill of lading is signed with *************************************************. They refuse to respond to us, and I cannot even locate my furniture. I have lost nearly everything I own, and paid them to take it. I do not know if they dumped my personal property, sold it, or just refuse to deliver it, but given that this has been ongoing for over four months, I think it is safe to say that this is a fraud issue involving stolen property. I have filed a police report for stolen property with the ************, **, police department on October 14th, 2022. Additionally, I have had to spend significant sums of money to replace business necessary items, which has put me in a position of near bankruptcy. Please help how you can, this business, *************************************************, is fraudulent and is only listed as Sunrise Van Lines on the BBB, which is very suspicious. They have the same address. Lastly, they told us we had to make the payments to "All Year Moving" which I assume is a parent corporation or subsidiary. *************************** ***************** ************

I hired a moving company to help me move from **************** ******** to ****** **********. On the move day, the movers were 12 hours late. When they arrived they attempted to nearly triple my original moving price. After some talking down, we let them take our things and were assured they would be there in a few days. I planned to call the next morning and give management an earful based on their lack of professionalism but quickly found that all of the phone numbers that were written on my contract were invalid. I then looked further into the company and found that they had hundreds of police reports and complaints filed about them for not delivering people's items, or if delivered, they arrived destroyed. I went to file a police report. When I finally managed to get one of the higher *** from the moving company on the phone they assured me my things would be at my new home no more than 10 days later. Those 10 days came and went. No one answered the phone for days until I threatened lawyers and legal action, at which point they informed me that they legally had a few more weeks to get me my things. This hasn't yet happened. I still don't have my possessions and have no idea where in the country they might be. No one will answer the phone. I just want my things back.

General Storage and Moving referred ************************************************* to us on the day of our move from ******** to **************, so we never had a chance to research the company, because if we did ************************************************* would not of have moved our personal belongings. I had to email ************************* and text ***************** for a few months before we would hear from them, when they would text it was the same thing they was working on it. Then in December of 2021 they told me they would need another month maybe to bring my stuff. We had to go back January 28, 2022 to pick our belongings because ******************************* refused to bring us our belongings. We filed a complaint regarding breach of contact, then took it to arbitration because we did not feel ***** was correct. The arbitration team sided in our favor and gave ************************************************* 10 business days to pay or appeal the decision. 10 business days has come and gone with no payment or appeal. ************************* and ***************** are scam artist. The company ************************************************* is a sham. Do not hire this company or anything associated with ************************* or *****************.

    1) We were quoted that we would pay 50% at pick up and 50% at drop off and the price would be $3,000. Upon pick up, the movers said that the price had doubled to $6,000 and now 70% had to be paid at pick up - otherwise they wouldn't take it. The movers also noted that they would only accept payment via Zelle. 2) We were told the movers would show up between 9:00 - 11:00 am. They did not show until 5:45 pm. 3) We were told that we would have the truck to ourselves and there would be no other customers' possessions in it. Upon arrival, the truck was already half full of four other customers' items. This caused some of our items to be tied to the back of the exterior of the truck, rather than being protected from the elements inside the truck. 4) We saw the movers (from our window) drop two of our TVs as well as fragile art pieces at the loading dock. They did not tell us about this, but they are all likely broken. 5) We were quoted that it would take 5 days to receive our items at our destination. Upon pick up, the movers noted that it would be at least 10 days (we did not separate 10 days worth of items out of the truck due to the original quote). It has now been over 45 days and we still have not received our items. 6) After our items were packed, we were finally presented with a contract. However, it was only the signature page and the movers did not have the other pages of the contract to provide us. We did not notice this until 6/14 when we were finally provided the remainder of the contract (backdated to 6/11 by the movers). Upon receipt of the remainder of the contract is the first time it was stated to us that the move could take up to 28 days (which we still have already passed). 7) Thanks to an air tag placed with our belongings, we are able to see that our items are in a non-climate controlled generic storage facility in Colorado, which is where they have been since the day of the move. We expect most of our items to be damaged due to the heat this summer.

I got the shipment quote from the company "Perfectly Packed Moving and Storage". They received $782 from me for the initial movement, rest they asked me to pay during the delivery of the package. Please refer the attached file "shipment from Cedar Rapids.pdf". The shipment date was Jul/12 or July/13. While picking up the package on Jul/13 afternoon they tied up me to the unknown carrier called "Alpine Van Lines". The company "Perfectly Packed Moving and Storage" asked me to deal with the carrier company " Alpine Van Lines" directly. The carrier asked me additional amount $4103 to pickup and move the items. My family is ready to move out within 3 hours but the carrier asked me lot of extra money at that moment. Both the companies put lot of mental pressure to my family. Even i paid the asked money but still they are holding our belongings. I booked the apartment in Boca Raton, FL on Jul/15 and rented out my house in Cedar Rapids, IA as well. So i don't have time in the last minute to reach out other packers and movers to ship the item. That was the reason behind they forced me to pay extra cash and not packed the items properly in a professional manners. Kindly help me to receive my belongings. Pick up location: **** ******** ** *** ***** ******* **** XXXXX Pickup date: July/12 or 13 Delivery Location: Boca Raton, FL Delivery Date: July/17 But still the items are not yet delivered to me. My family especially kids are struggling everyday with out our belonging including Bed, kitchen items, Cloths, and kids study books and so on. The family has been impacted by this. There is no proper response from the company "Alpine Van Lines" and they are not providing the exact delivery date. As on today it was 13 days completed, but the items are not yet delivered. Kindly put the penalty and stop both the business at least to save all other future movers not getting this issue. Thanks and Regards ******* **** ****** ** mobile: XXX-XXX-XXXX

My elderly parents hired a moving company as they are relocating to South Dakota. The movers showed up in the evening of April 29. They immediately started demanding more money for the move. The delivery date was set for May 1. Every week since then they tell us it will be here by the weekend and that they have 21 days to get them their belongings. I contacted them yesterday as it was the 21st day and was promised an early morning delivered ver today 6/1. They never showed up. They have quit answering my calls or returning my messages. My sister called them today and they promised a delivery for later today and have not shown up and still won't return calls. My parents are in their 80's and my mom is in poor health. The move was to be from Akron Colorado to Spearfish South Dakota. 350 miles. The phone number of the person we are working with is XXX-XXX-XXXX. I believe he is based in Aurora. Name is Yaron?

Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/06/18) */ I managed to get in touch with the owner June 2nd. He claims to have a truck with a blown engine and asked for a few days to work it out. I got ahold of him the following week and I was told he had bought a new truck and it would be in Colorado the following week and we would get our stuff. He then quit taking my calls after we didn't get a delivery. My dad managed to get ahold of him this week and got the same story. Said to expect a delivery next week as he had a new truck coming to Denver from Florida. I left a voice mail asking for the address so we could go to Denver and get it ourselves. I never got a response. The company name is Alpine Van Lines I got some new phone #s XXX-XXX-XXXX XXX-XXX-XXXX. - owner. (Jack)

I recently booked movers for an interstate move through Homesafe Transit (who I will be filing a separate complaint about) for a move from Chicago, IL to Buffalo, NY. Homesafe Transit is a brokerage company who booked Alpine Van Lines for my move. Alpine Van Lines showed up late on the final day of the pickup window (4/19/2022) in a U-Haul with none of the moving materials we were told we would receive. They then took an inventory of my goods and said that the move would cost an additional $1,594 because the original quote was too low. I accepted the price increase and paid them $1,829 on the spot to load our things. They then informed us it would be delivered in 2-5 days. It has now been 23 days and I do not know where my things are or when they will be delivered. Alpine Van Lines has been incredibly hard to get a hold of, and when I do I am given conflicting stories about broken down trucks, my things being in Indiana, my things being in Ohio, and endless excuses. Yaron M******, who owns the company and is the only one I have been able to speak with spent a week telling me my things would be delivered on Friday, May 6th, then on the day of never answered and never arrived. It took me 5 more days to get a hold of him at which point he yelled at me and told me that I was bugging him and his employees. The current story is that my stuff is on a broken down truck in Toledo, OH, and he is trying to find another truck. He will not tell confirm a delivery date and inaccurately states that he is still within his contract. I have stated that I want to come get my things myself and can do so immediately. He promised to call me back with a location to get my things but still has not. I have spent several days searching online for this company and there is nothing good to be found. They have no website, one email address that they ignore, and 3 phone numbers, 2 of which do not work. Additionally there are countless reviews from other people they have screwed over like this.
