Grout Boss was at my house Monday, I thought he was doing a great job, he left in a hurry, didn't ask us to look at the work he did, I reminded ********* worker of what needed to be redone in the walk in shower, he did half of what was needed n didn't do the counter properly charging us 40 bucks to recalk it, corners in the shower were only redone half way up, even tho it was coming lose the rest of the way, under the ledge where the shower doors sit was not touched even tho I reminded them to do it when they were in there... sorry cannot recommend his company, I would insist him coming back n do s decent job, but believe I can do better, this is not the way to treat customers, we are elderly n thought it better to hire someone but now we have to finish n redo the job ourselves, he is not cheap. Grout Boss don't call us.

This is all false. We did exactly what was on the job sheet plus a few more itens that were not listed. The caulk was done perfectly and the walk in shower was only repaired in one area, in which we did. The bulk of the job was a complete shower regrout that was inspected and approved by your husband. Furthermore, this job was done 4 days ago and not one call from you with any of these concerns. If there was any issues, we would be happy to address them. There is no need for a negative review without first attempting to reach our office. I will be happy to provide before and after pictures of the work that was completed.

I Worked for *************** for 6-7months I can honestly say he is the worst boss *** ever worked for in my career for one he expects above and beyond for what hes paying his employee he only has one employee and cant even maintain that he also lied when about saying that this job only consisted of doing grout which is why he was his excuse of paying me so little but in all reality he would have me pave peoples back yards do tile repair and complete tile work and also green board repair for bathrooms which that already in itself is alot of money how I know is because thats the most expensive jobs that Ill do. Do not ever believe that this is a multi million dollar company like he told me from the start which its not he lied about alot of things and me being only 21 at the time now 22 Ive had to learn the hard way as to not fully trusting what people who own personal companys say. One good thing he did was lend me the van to let me go to and from work and home but expected me to come out of pocket on everything on the vehicle which i did take care of the gas and such even for what I was getting paid. He would leave me to do 1000-1500 dollar jobs and simply do the little things before leaving mind you this man goes to the gym almost every day he is fit but uses his age as an opportunity to get out of things or make you feel bad for him. He will also talk you not like an employee but just like trash just cause he thinks since hes the boss he can talk to whoever and how hed like which to me is incorrect at a bosses level. He does not provide proper PPE and expects you to breath through these masks that the filters havent been changed in what looks like years so regardless wearing them wont help you and once asked from him to provide proper PPE he simply told me to go and buy it myself. He let me go because I told him I was coughing up blood and that I couldnt make it he responded with saying that he will not pay me for the week I worked and will fire me.

****** was a contractor that was terminated. He owes our company over $725 of unfulfilled and outstanding invoices, equipment and supplies. He has stolen office and vehicle keys and we will be filling criminal charges against him.

My husband and I can't be happier with the shower. It it looks better than when we first bought the house. I highly recommend the Grout Boss if you want to save money instead of a remodel.

Not really an "100% Iron Clad Satisfaction Guarantee" as stated on their site. We used them for re-coloring years back. Went fine. Recently had them re-grout a shower. Called about discoloration in new grout. Immediately pointed to the paperwork stating they are't responsible for any staining from possible water behind walls. 1 sentence during quoting about that possibility would have been nice since we were dealing with missing grout to begin with. Had plenty of clean-up to do after they were done. You usually wipe up after grouting, but that wasn't done. Left grout on my non tiled walls as well as chunks left on the tile, glass, and frame of the shower. I also put up plastic all around the bathroom and full taped it just to have the worker slice it up to use the sink. So much for keeping it clean in there. If you're looking for clean and detailed work, you may want to shop around. Also, make sure you check your hose after they're done. Employee lefts ours on and un-wound.

That is categorically false. As discussed, it takes time for discoloration to dissipate if it does at all. Your job was only completed 10 days ago. This is a ridiculous review in itself. Our warranty on or estimates are very clear and in detail. Moisture causing grout to discolor is NOT a grouting issue but an issue with moisture present from behind the understructure of the tile installation. There is no way to determine that prior to regrouting, that's why we explain it at the conclussion of the work so customers understand what issues may occur. This was in fact told to you. As far as your clean up issues, we do our best to clean up as much as possible and during estimate we explained there will be some cleaning you would need to do after we have finished. You understood that at time. But to anyone reading your unnecessary negative review, I have attached photos of just how spectacular your job turned out. It's unfortunate customers like you submit 1 star reviews when clearly there are 4 stars you could put if nothing but our exceptional technicians hard work getting your shower as best as it coule be. Be a better person and allow

Part of the job included regrouting 3 or 4 tiles in the kitchen and a grout line from the affected tiles that extended about 8 feet. The remainder of the job was recaulking the tub/wall interface in the Master bath. The recaulking looks like I did it; not very professional, with varying sags and widths. It is just minimally acceptable. The kitchen regrouting, however, is the wrong color, i.e. white versus gray, and is strikingly apparent. It needs to be regrouted and color-matched with existing grout. The kitchen floor looks much worse after the job. I called him twice and emailed him once, and he has not contacted me regarding repair or refund.

Couple issues. First and foremost I decided to write this review because they broke my shower valve AND DIDNT EVEN TELL ME. So I discovered it 7 days after they finished when I went to use the shower after the waiting period. Even if the owner didnt know the worker broke it he would have discovered that when he went into the shower to do some final cleanup at the end of the project AND HAD NO WATER. Second, when grinding out our old grout, the worker had the vacuum cleaner reversed; so instead of being set to suction, it was set to blow. Hence our entire house filled with grout dust. This created an enormous cleaning project for us throughout our closet, clothes, ************* in multiple rooms. The dust was so thick we actually could not see. Lastly, we noticed after they left, they didn't clean and dye shower pan lip. So the entire floor is done but the outside rise of the shower does not match and looks completely different.

The job was done on the master shower, master bathroom floor & 2nd bathroom floor. New grout was never sealed. Lines & chunks of “new” grout have been drying up & “coming loose” since then. The workman was pleasant & worked hard to please us. We weren’t aware of any issues until a week or so later. Guess I should have read the reviews before hiring this company

It's unfortunate you are having issues with your grout. Grout falling out is not caused by removal and installing new grout. ANY grout that falls out is typically due to movement from the understrcture. In other words, loose tiles. This is not covered under our warranty as per the section on the reverse side of your proposal sheet. Plus we haven't received any communications from you of this issue. Feel free to contact us directly so we can diagnose issues, but over 5 months is a long time and can be caused by many other things, but definitely not simply putting new grout in.
