            Made a high bid on the **** auction site for a **** Chevrolet Bel Air to a ********************* who was selling the vehicle through his company "The Vintage Collections." I paid $29,301 for what was advertised as a "No Rust" pristine original vintage classic car. The sellers description read that the vehicle was ***********. The ad stated " Inside and out this is a fantastic example of a highly detailed original car that was taken care of with nothing but the finest attention to detail". The photos used in the ad were that of a pristine vehicle with no rust or other visible defects in the overall condition of the vehicle. The photos show beautiful and clean chrome splash guards, bumpers and hubcaps. I paid $1,850 to have the vehicle transported from ******* to **********. The vehicle was picked up on 11/2/2022 and delivered on 11/11/2022. Unfortunately, the vehicle that arrived is covered with rust throughout the body with most of the chrome also covered in rust. The hubcaps are held in place with screws in order that they do not fall off. The roof just above the rear window appears to have been hand painted in black to cover up rust spots. The door ***** also have several rust spots. The front corners of the roof have cracks and rust spots showing.I believe I am a victim of a deceptive, fraudulent and unfair businessman. I strongly feel that the pictures used in the ad were taken a long time ago when the vehicle might have actually been in a original and pristine condition. I have attached copies pictures used in the ad and also attached pictures that I took when the vehicle arrived in ********** which show the true and current condition of the vehicle. I sincerely believe that Mr. ********************* took advantage of me and is also now making claims blaming the driver of the transport company for what he indicates is damage caused to the vehicle by them. For info. the vehicle was brought to me in an enclosed trailer. He agreed to take the vehicle back but has since reneged.
