            Please see the uploaded documentation.I paid a down payment of $15,000.00 to Restoration 1 of West Palm Beach, Inc. on March 15, 2024 to do some remodeling work in my house, while this company was doing some other work in the house that was covered by insurance. Sometime in April 2024, I was not satisfied with the progress of the remodeling work, and reduced the scope of the remodeling work, and started negotiating with Restoration 1 of West Palm Beach for the reimbursement of the money that will not be used in the remodeling. I met with ***** *******, project manager for Restoration 1 of West Palm Beach on June 24, 2024 and together established that the amount to be refunded would be $5,863.67. This amount was later corrected to $5,412.77 by mutual agreement on July 5, 2024. Restoration 1 of West Palm Beach, Inc. committed to refund this amount to me by August 8, 2024, and then by August 23, 2024. Restoration 1 of West Palm Beach did not pay me as promised (see uploaded emails). Restoration 1 of West Palm Beach, in particular ***** ********* (President), has not responded to my request and demand to pay me the $5,412.77.

            March of 2024, ********************* and I went into agreement with Restoration 1 to complete the renovation of my home bathroom. I receive a check from Progressive for $5,813.94 which I signed over to Restoration 1. After waiting several weeks for the work to begin I received a call from the contractor that the work will cost an additional $1,200.00. At this time, I decide to cancel the contract and ask for the money back. Was told numerous times that the check was in the mail to no avail. Numerous attempts to have the check returned where I was promised that it was in the works. To this date i have not received anything. I had to pay out of my pocket to have the work completed.
