We used National Apostille, **** They charged us $2005.00 in early August 2022 when we sent them all the required documents to be legalized. They stated it would take 8- 10 weeks to get the documents back. Since then, we have tried contacting them via phone and email to no avail and no legalized documents were ever processed or delivered back to us. They also duplicated the charge on our AmEx card, charging $2005.00 the second time in early October which we disputed. For the past few weeks, we have tried to contact them again, and no answer at any of their office locations throughout the US. We looked up YELP and BBB reviews and found many other similar complaints about this company charging other customers twice for document processing and not delivering documents. One complainant went to the local office and was told the company closed down, 2 months prior and his/her CC was double charged a week before. Today we found another company online with an almost exact website as National Apostille, called *** Apostille, ****, In addition to the ***** office listed, they had offices throughout the U.S. The same offices are listed on both Apostille websites. We called *** Apostille and asked them the status of the documents they were handling under their other name, and they advised us that it was not the same company as National Apostille and had no knowledge of our company or the d they were legalizing for us. We also were provided the name of the owner which has the same last name as the owner of National Apostille, **** We were under a deadline to submit these documents which are now overdue. We have since filed a dispute for the charge with **************** on the original charge. It appears this company has closed down and reopened under a variation of its name in order to collect fees and continue to scam people into paying them for a service that won't be provided. Both websites are accessible and easy to compare.

On 01, August 2022 I spoke and submitted a payment of $195.00 to National Apostille **** The payment was for Apostille service; in addition to payment I also FedEx'ed a certified Florida birth certificate sent to:National Apostille, *** Attn: ***************************** **************************************************************** This Birth certificate was ordered and sent to me from the Florida Health Dept....At this point my number concern is to retrieve my original copy of my birth certificate and verify that my credit company was not charged; although I had a stop payment put on this transaction after multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact anyone from subject name company. I also feel this company needs to be investigated by a proper federal agency due to the fact that they are receiving official government documents that could be used for anything from identity theft to production of false documents. Please feel free to contact me with any further questions or concerns that you may have.

I placed an Apostille order on July 1 and was told processing time would take 4 weeks. They took immediate payment of $195.00 by credit card. I followed up at 4 weeks and was told that processing was now 5 or 6 weeks. At six weeks I was told it was about 7 weeks. On 8/26 I was told that if I did not get an email confirming shipment, I should call back on 9/1. Throughout this entire process, it took several calls, emails and chat messages to get a response. I waited until after the Labor Day weekend and on 9/6, I emailed, sent web messages and left messages at the main number and the ***** office. As of today there has been no response. I believe they lost or mishandled my order and do not want to respond or have simply closed the business. I have asked them, via web message to respond by 9/9 or I will be calling my credit card company to pull back the charge. I would prefer to get my Apostilled document because time is of the essence in this matter and thousands of dollars and a five-year process has been spent on the citizenship application which requires this document. It is literally the last document I need and I need it before November or the clock runs out on this process. I will consider further action if National Apostille becomes the reason my application falls through.
