    I selected an auto upholstery shop to reupholster my classic truck seat. I delivered the seat to them and paid the $750.00 deposit. The total cost was $1500.00, with the balance due on pickup/delivery of the completed seat. The estimated time for completion was roughly three weeks. The seat and deposit were delivered on 2 April 2024. About three weeks in, I followed up with the shop, and they informed me they were having issues with the seat and had to start over. I understood and allowed more time, letting them know I prefer a quality product and am not in a rush. I followed up a few weeks later, and they informed me they were still working on it. This continued with excuse after excuse, everything from family illness to delivery driver was missing...etc. I even made an appearance at the shop twice, with similar results. Finally, last week, I applied pressure and started calling daily, with multiple calls, but was eventually ignored. I left a voicemail explaining they had one more day to get me my seat and refund my money before I filed complaints and police reports and disputed the charge on my credit card. So here we are. I have disputed the charge, and now I am filing the complaints.

    To whom it may concern,

    *******************, dropped off his bench seat to be reupholstered with his design of choosing,  we gave him a tentative completion time of 3 to 4 week,  but explained that since we were replacing the foam body of the seat it may be longer do to shortage of materials.   Seat was finally finished and picked up by him on 4/22/2024, paid the balance as required.
