On or about January 16, 2025 I saw a charge of ***** on my credit card. I called & was told that a credit would be issued in 3 weeks. As of February 13, 2025 I did not receive the credit. So I tried calling again, but could not get through to anyone.I don't know they got my credit card number, so I will be contacting my credit card company to check if there is fraud in getting my card number I would like the charge of ***** credited & be assyred that there will be no more chargesReview from Stephanie P

My sim card stopped working, I bought a new one to transfer my service to, they told me I have to authenticate myself with a security pin that I never set up. Refused my offers to authenticate myself by my email or call history. I was a customer for 8 years, only set up online access for my account a few years ago. Apparently I did set up a pin for online access, but they refused to accept what I had. All the **** I spoke to also suggested basic fixes I tried already, like rebooting my phone. If I could have solved it myself, believe me, I would have avoided customer "service". Essentially, they have stolen 6 months of service from me, because they refuse to work with me in authenticating my account. Needless to say, I will be getting service and a new phone from a different provider. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is that the service was consistent and good during my 8 years as a customer. My advice is if you are a ********************** customer, do not pay for a multi month plan, otherwise this could happen. Nonetheless, they do provide decent service at a low price, it all works fine if you can avoid calling customer non-support.Review from Michele B

My company purchased four phones with plans from **************************, however, when we would try to activate the phones we would have to call the company. Each call would take ***** minutes. I spoke with the company asking for a refund for the four phones. After going up the chain of command they sent me a mailing label that contained the tracking number and a ticket number. I called 3 weeks after sending them in and was told I should have the refund in 24 hours. I called 3 weeks later and was told I would have the refund by midnight. I called January 10th and was told I didn't have the correct ticket number and was provided a new ticket number and the refund would take 72 hours. I called again today and was told I had to wait for the next billing cycle in 30 days. Each time I called I was on the phone for over an hour. This is a horrible company with horrible customer service. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND!!Review from Donald B

I got scammed into buying text messages even though I already had 2000 text messages on my account when I was trying to buy data. It said I was purchasing data they said it was my mistake so I had to live with it. It clearly said data when I checked out this has happened multiple times. I have a ******* Galaxy A53(love this phone). I had this phone with service from straighttalk, had auto-fill payment method for years! About three(3) months before I actually got another service, I started calling crookedtalk to unlock or instructions how to unlock my phone. I met ALL the requirements! For three(3) months tracfone and crookedtalk lied to me about my phone. Both told me my phone was unlocked! I took my A53 to another provider for a less expensive bill/service ( $25.00 instead of $37.47/month) and the technician at the store also COULD NOT get it unlocked, even after he called *************************************** I HAD TO PURCHASE A NEW PHONE! A lesser phone cuz I didn't have the funds for an A53 or A54. In summation, both TracFone with ******* ****** as CEO and straighttalk lied to me for months! They need 0 stars , I was promised a refund 2X and told I could not have one and to file a complaint with my bank ! I was given 3 ticket numbers for 3 refunds 2X and never given the refund. When I called to complain about no refund they shut my phone down midservice, made me drive 1.5 hours to get a new sim card, told me to call the phone manufacturer of my phone to have them write a letter to verify it was a unlocked phone after I had been using it for over a year with straight talk. They charged me 3 different amounts for the promised $90 for 3 lines then claimed they never had that offer although the cards are still at ******** stores and at ******* . com . Horrendous service. made 8 calls 1 day 13 calls another over 8 hours 1 day. They refuse to give me my refund of over $60 extra they stole from my bank account and I have the ticket numbers to prove the refund was promised 2x. NEVER use straight talk. NEVER, I am stuck with them because my 79 year old mother refuses to use anything but a flip phone. EVERU customer service call is a nightmare, prepare for 3 hours at least for a simple problem.Review from Cheryl A

I have had straight talk as a internet provider for years. I've never experienced as many problems as I've had in the last two to three years I make phone calls and they all go to a call center, and currently the same man is handling all of my financial decisions and payments through this phone number. In other words when I make the phone call it's the same person getting it all the time. They're wanting my phone number because I've used it for many accounts including the irs. Therefore it's beyond anything that's comprehensible for them to be allowing any business that kind of abuse. I called them to ask who was monitoring my emails on my ***** account, and they said we can't tell you because it would violate their rights. Now you understand that it's my privacy that's being violated not theirs and even if the carrier were to tell me who it was that was reading my emails it's still would not be there the violated it would be me. What really grips me is that they're always foreign. Every bill collector that's called me ask them phone calls that I get they either seem to be foreign or of a minority race. In other words they speak with a thick accent. Yes I consider that an act of treason. This Foreigner has my personal information now because I thought I was giving it to a business. They assure me that they're taking care of me. I didn't authorize anyone to second-hand pay me by giving them the money and then having them give me what they want to give me out of it. If it's an attorney he screwed in the head. If it is a doctor or a therapist they are screwed in the head to violate my privacy to the point that they are willing to give my personal information to anybody that requests it.Review from Mary L

Do not use this service. I got a flip-phone for my aunt in a nursing home in another state. When the phone was damaged, i got her a new one and changed SIM cards for her. Soon after, her service abruptly stopped. Calling customer service, they said her autopay did not transfer to the new phone. So I set up autopay again. For the next 6 months, she has been billed twice every month. and every month I call, they say they have fixed it and it won't happen the next month. and it does. (They do refund the incorrect charge.) This month, she got charged once on 11/1. Success! and then her phone stopped working on 11/27. So back to customer service I go. Each month I have the same conversation. Haven't even mentioned in this review the issues with trying to address issues with the phone remotely (not having access to the phone). i got this because i thought the phone would be the easiest thing for her to use. I had no idea the service would be such a nightmare. if someone at Tracfone wants to contact me to rectify the situation once and for all, feel free.Review from GERALD V

Tracfone Wireless I purchased an A15 5G from tracfone returned and delivered to the warehouse on 08/09/2024 in **********, ******* at 10:30 AM; received by **************** I have the Tracking number. I have been told many lies that; I would get my money back, Return was approved, Refund was on its way to the bank, not going to get a refund. I did not get any refund for my Un-boxed, Un-opened A15 5G phone that I paid $181.89 to Tracfone. This is not acceptable.I will register as many complaints as necessaryReview from Judy M

I terminated my service with this company and attempted to switched to another carrier. I could not switch because Tracfone has mine and my husbands phone locked . I called on 11/2/2024 to Tracfone and they said it would take ***** hours for me to get an email to unlock my phone. It is now 11-08-2024 and I have no such email. I have not have phone service for over a week and my husband has not had service for over 4 days . Our phones should not have been locked to start with because Tracfone is a pay as you go service . Would not recommend Tracfone.
