My issue with Rody Truck Center is he guarantees he can get anybody financed and BEWARE buyers or finances because he will. Rody Has stolen $40,065 from me and I will tell you how. On my first truck purchase on 06/26/2023 I gave Rody Truck Center of Miami a $32,965 down payment on an $87,965 truck bringing my balance to $55,000. On June 20, 2024 a year later I requested a payoff quote. Come to find out my balance owed on the truck is / was $66,919.68. This was /is more than what I owed Rody Truck Center after giving him a $32,965 down payment on day one. Rodys colleagues ****************** to whom he does business with, a wide percentage of his customers get financed through claimed I had only paid to date $19,895.04 over 1 year. When I had asked ************** where my down payment went I was told it was an origination/vendors fee, which means Rody Truck Center of Miami kept it. It was not applied to the principal balance of the loan. **** naturally denied this. Then today I asked ******************* another one of ***** ***** and the second truck for the payoff quote. Rody Truck Center of Miami kept my $7100 down payment for this truck also and it was not applied to the principal balance as the invoice and bill of sale he handed me for both trucks reflected and considered an origination/vendors fee. If you were going to buy a truck from this company, please be Careful he will hand you a bill of sale, take your deposit, smiling in your face while you pay $20-$30,000 over what you agreed to. Ive contacted today contract attorneys and will be contacting the BBB for false information and or do whatever I can to make an impact for buyers to be aware. His reputation from Miami to *** already proceeds him as negative in the truck industry If you are a desperate buyer with bad credit minimal income, you are a prime target for this company if he did it to me twice this company has been doing this to people for years and its time to put a stop to it.

1 year ago next month we sent this dishonest man a deposit for a truck. We finally had enough money saved to start our own business. At first he was great. Until he got our money then 6 weeks turned into 4 months and we were never told payments start when you sign papers. So paying on a truck while he custom builds this 98k truck. Title is held up now we know why but at the time seemed like a honest mistake. We call and call and ask for a date of delivery. 2 weeks was his famous saying. Then on the first Monday of December we get a call from a strange number. Its the guy driving our truck. He says I'm at airport 2 hours from us and this is as far as I can go or I am stuck finding a way to airport. Drive the 2 hours to the truck and guy pretty much runs off as soon as his payment is in his hand. How do we get this home....2 hours away. No plate no paper work nothing. So pay for a tow? Drive it illegal? Once home we know why they guy ran so fast. This truck has been a major accident at some point. Rody plays is games for months again and finally sends us a used part *** covered in oil. Then says he will send 9k check for fixing truck. Rody takes his *** and says only if we sign to terminate the warranty. At this point we figure this is all we will ever get we better take it. We fixed what we could before it went to the peterbilt dealership and is still there today. Last time they called we were up to 22,000$ IN REPAIRS!!! we had to choose between a lawyer and fixing it. Stay far away from this place I have a list of at least 15 names of people that have almost the same story.

Rody is a pleasure to work with! If he doesn't have exactly what I am looking for he makes sure to find/build it for me. And he is the nicest guy. I have bought several trucks from him and will continue to go to him first. 5 stars!!
