    I went to For Eyes, store #***, on 4/21/23 and received an eye exam and ordered frames lenses.On 5/16/23 I returned the eye glasses to the store due to problems I was having with the glasses. The Optometrist determined that the lenses were improperly made and issued orders for a new pair. On 6/13/23 I was told that they had lost the details for my order and I would need to repeat the re-exam process or receive a refund. With all the delays and poor service, I chose to receive a refund. I returned the frames and lenses that were improperly made to the For Eyes store #*** on 6/14/23 for a full refund to my debit card and to restore my benefits with Eye Med. As of today, more than 2 weeks later the refund has not been credited to my debit card nor have my benefits been restored with Eye Med. I have spoken to the store manager several times and been told it is a system problem and they were working on it. I subsequently called to the corporate office and was told that the refund should have been processed within 2 days and they would get it resolved. Again, as of today, 6/29/23 no refund or restoration of benefits has been made. Since this appears to be a system issue with the original refund, per what I am being told by the store manager, and it has been over 2 weeks, the refund should be reprocessed so I can finally get my refund and restoration of my benefits with Eye Med and be able to use them at another optical center.*************************** ************************************************************ ************

    See original complaint. I'm not sure what documents you're looking for. The glasses were returned to for eyes at the ****** location and a refund was to be posted however no refund has been received. I am seeking a refund of the funds charged to my debit card.

    It is now approximately 3 months since I returned the eyeglasses to four eyes and I have still to receive a refund. Approximately 3 weeks ago I contacted for eyes store in ****** and they said they would process a home check and I should receive it within 2 weeks. It has now been over 3 weeks and I have not received a check nor any response from four eyes.

    ***The BBB Has Received Additional Information From Consumer!***

     

    I emailed the General manager, *******************, and told her I was filing a complaint with the ************* ***************** since I still haven't received a refund and lack of response from her. Within minutes of my releasing the email I received a call that they have decided to pay out the refund in cash and I could go to the ****** store to pick it up. I went to the store this morning and finally received a refund of $254,68 in cash after a lot of personal time spent trying to get this refund over two and a half months.
    In my opinion, For Eyes should receive the lowest possible rating with the BBB for customer service and business practices.

    I purchased a pair of glasses from 4 eyes a couple months afterwards, I started getting scratches and finally quit wearing a match about 3 months, finally took them back and returned them 6 months later. They would not give me any warranty at all. They said I would have to buy all new glasses. I went back to wearing old paper. Are 2 years old and do Not have any scratches on them. And I clean them both the same way.

    12/7/2022 - I ordered contact lens (ref.#: 00D2oZFW6_5002o39MhQB - $61.48 12/19/2022 - I called several times during this week, left voicemail messages with no response 1/4/2023 - I emailed a requested a refund and to cancel the order.1/5/2023 - Their email response "apologized for the delay response... package was shipped and is showing lost and credit was applied 1/4/2023."1/23/2023 - Ordered and received contacts from different For Eyes (******, **) for $77.38 2/15/2023 - No contacts or refund has been received to this date from *******, **.

    I went to for eyes almost 1yr ago to get eye glasses all went well even bought a warranty on the lenses because I wanted the scratch resistance lenses. So after 6 months my one lens was all scratched so I figured no biggie I'll call and use my warranty that I paid for. Lady that answered was very polite and advised me to wait till the warranty get's closer to expiring and then use it so I did, Now I called and spoke to ***** paid for New lens as the "WARRANTY" does not cover all of the cost no biggie i pay it. Days go by and I reach out and ***** says no nothing yet and I said it's been 3 weeks and she rudely answers back no it's been 12 days whatever I hang up now its even longer and still no calls, so today 11-14-22 I call and ***** answers the phone ask for my name I give it to her and puts me on hold and says my manager will call you back no call back, I call again no one answers the phone,

    On 7/6/22 I went into the "For Eyes" optical store located at **********************. I purchased a pair of eye glasses and contact lens. When I went into the store I told the store worker what I needed and I provided her the prescription for both the eye glasses & the contacts. I informed her I had my insurance card but she stated the info was already in the system. She then made a phone call. Throuhgout the time I was there selecting the glasses she remained on the phone. I assumed she was contacting my insurance carrier however as she spoke on the phone she mentioned something about making arrangements to make installment payments. She was on a personal phone call. I remained silent but did ask her if she needed to fit me for the frames I chose. She stated it wasn't necessary. It was in the system. She stated everything was being mailed because she had just learned that the store was closing (going out of business). She continued her phone call. I paid a total of $544.51 for both items. When I received the contacts they were not the lens a year ago I received from that For Eyes location. It was not the lens I had ordered online on 2 other occasions from that For Eyes. I received the order 7/13/22. The order # is **********. I've made **** telephone calls to customer service (the phone system is not working. The location is closed where I bought the lens. I sent 2 emails and 3 messages through the website. I would like assistance sooner than later to get the correct lens. I am running out of contacts.
