Owners of parcel/ condo reside in an HOA in ****** called *************** whom employs Seacrest Southwest to manage properties and handle funds for condo owners. Owners paid ******** quarterly for payment of maintenance assessment which we have never been late. On July 5, ***** we sent certified payment to designated bank Valley Banks, *************. Owners have sent their payments to the above address previously with no issues. Owners noted and sent email to License Cam *****************************, associated with Seacrest Southwest regarding payment due to owners noticing check had been received by bank but not cashed which resulted in a late charge to our account. After several attempts made to Seacrest to find out what happened to the check, we did not receive any responds back to this date. Owners cancel check on July ******* with our banking institution which we would have been charged a cancelation fee however our bank waived the fees. Owners paid the Maintenance assessment of ******* on online portal. On this date August 2, 2024, owners checked online portal and noticed that our Maintenance assessment was directed to attorney fees on July *******. We did not authorize this traction, and owners never authorize payment for any attorney fees to this date. This organization intentionally is mishandling funds which is fraudulent. Owners are not paying the fees unless a judge court orders us to pay attorney fees to association. Per stated in Gulf Winds East own by-laws 14.2 attorney fees must be awarded by court, which would mean there is ligation and if Gulf Winds East had been the prevailing party to seek such award if GWE actually won case. This case has never been under litigation or heard in appropriate court. According to the Attorney fees should have only been ******** however this company is trying to collect ***** and the invoices and financial ledger all have conflicting amounts. The owners are seeking ******* credited back to our account.

I contacted Storm Smart about hurricane screening for my lanai. I filed an architectural review request with the *** management ( Seacrest)40 days ago. I paid the $50 application fee. I also gave them a $1000.00 check, that was required if any structural damage happened. They cashed my check the very next day without any review approval. I have been in contact with *************************, our *** representative at Seacrest. The first time we spoke, she told me she had sent me an email with the approval. I asked her to resend it. She called and said it wasnt approved and had to go to the builder. She said she would have an answer for me on Monday. On Tuesday I called and asked, she said they needed more time and would have an answer on Friday last week. I told her we were leaving town on May 7 and was wanting the screens installed before we left and hurricane season started. She never got back to me. I sent a message through the online sight and asked to speak to the board. No response. I called the office and was given the regional managers name, *****************. I called and left a voicemail. I said I wanted my money back and if they didnt respond, I would contact the BBB and my attorney. No response. Tomorrow I plan to go to the office and ask for my money back. I feel like its a scam where they are making money off my money! They are keeping me from having hurricane protection.
