It's always nice when talking to *** at this firm. She's always in a positive mood .I called in early January,2025 and stated while in my fuse box two switches were flipped off. When flipping back on they did not stay on. (Switches were for AC&Heat.)We used Emergency Heat till new unit installed,*** scheduled ***** to come to our location. When arriving he checked compressor outside in rear of house. I was at fuse box flipped switches when he told me. They went back off. ***** told me there was a short in the compressor . The system was fourteen years old . The recommendation was a new AC/Heat Pump System .I called *** after above and **** who is Advisor for various units came to our home.He is easy to talk about different units. I decided with my wife on a Carrier Total System.*** scheduled technician **** and assistant ****** for 1/24/25. They arrived on time.(Coldest day of year). First thig as they put tarps all the way from front door to hallway.**** worked on old unit inside hall location. ****** was outside taking out old Amana unit. He placed new Carrier unit on pad. ****** soldered copper tube to finish job.,He came into help **** take inside unit out to truck .****** installed Honeywell thermostat and shown my ************* how to use new control .After unit being installed ****** finished by helping **** finish last steps.*** their boss was here checking steps of installation . He also fixed dryer vent blockage.When all work was complete any trash was removed from home.A day later delivery for us. Chocolate covered strawberries, apples, and bananas .I called *** and ****, both said this is what their company do for installation jobs.Nice touch for a ********************* R. ********* Hudson,FlReview from Tina S

Extremely disappointing. Feel like they took advantage of my 92 year old mom. Her plumbing backed up flooded the bathroom out into the hall. They came snaked the pipe. Charged over $400.00. Less than a month later same issue. Call different plumber who put a camera in the pipe. Said there was a ball of roots blocking in the pipe and that they must of loosened some of it to let the water pass thru. The new plumber cleared the whole blockage. Mom call Keilty plumbing backed and was told only a 14 day warranty. Pretty sad. My mom trusted RJ Keilty from back in the day of The Pasco Builder's Association. We will never call them again.

This company does not treat their customers with any respect or dignity. We feel we were completely scammed by them. Our hot water heater stopped making hot water, so I called them out to look at the hot water heater. Their tech said one of the elements is bad and replaced it for $625.00. But they also said there seems something wrong with the breaker. So, I called an electrician, and they came out and tested the breaker and checked the amps coming from the hot water heater, and the amps were really high, and he stated that the hot water heater is bad and needs to be replaced. So, I called back to the Plumbing company and explained to them that I am into this bad hot water heat over $825 dollars and back at step one of a nonfunctioning hot water heater. So, they sent someone out (the same tech as last time). A total of two days between their visits. And low and behold the hot water heater is dead and needs to be replaced under warranty. So, I asked why did I pay you over $625 dollars the first time you were out here to replace an element on a bad water heat that needed to be replaced? Never got an answer from him or the office personnel. I was quoted a little over $300 dollars to replace the hot water heater under warranty, but it needed to be approved by AO Smith the hot water heater company. So, finally after making several called to the plumbing company and 10 days waiting, they finally came out to replace the hot water heater and of course the amount I had to pay was almost $200 dollars higher. Called their office to find out what was going on and they would not answer why nor would the tech on site answer why it is higher. The office personal that I was talking to said that a manager would call us back. Guess what we are still waiting. So, either due to their incompetence or scamming we wasted over $825 dollars paying for the first service and electrician. A qualified plumber should have known that the hot water heater was dead the first time looking at it.R. J. Kielty Plumbing Heating & Cooling, Inc. Response

i spoke to customer and we refunded $478.62 back onto customer card.
Acting manager that received the call was out of the office on vacation.

I have been dealing with R. J. Kielty the past 3 years and have been 100% satisfied with their service. They supplied a date and timeframe for the technician's arrival, notified me when the technician was on the way and provided his name and photo. I live in an older home and both technicians I have dealt with were very professional, provided great service and made recommendations that were very helpful as to what might need completed in the future or some changes that were made immediately that made my life a lot easier (such as an addition of an outside shutoff in case of an emergency and reworking a line to make easier access---both very useful to me) I would definitely recommend R.J. Kielty Plumbing to anyone.Review from Michele W

The crew that showed up this morning, on time and ready to work, was fabulous! Nearly every drain pipe (yes, those too) had been knocked off the bottom of our house/crawl space in Hurricane ******. The crew sized up the situation, worked as a team and got us back in working order in less than half a day. They are polite, professional and well trained.I would not hesitate to recommend Kielty.Review from Joseph R

This company installed a water heater when ours broke, they responded quickly. My problem is that I purchased a prepaid service plan and they wait until the 4-hour appointment block has elapsed to then call you asking to reschedule. Two scheduled appointments in row are cancelled, even after I called their office to confirm that I was on the schedule, and I was told that I was next, mind you this call was at 3:55 PM and I had a 12:00-4:00 PM block for my service call. At 4:40 PM I get a call from a different dispatcher stating that they needed to reschedule because the tech was stuck on another job. Absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous! In my opinion is that, since I prepaid for my service maintenance plan, this company will not think twice about a late reschedule. Either the tech or dispatch dropped the ball and a customer is left to be treated poorly and unprofessionally. My suggestion is do not ever prepay for a service/maintenance plan with RJ Kielty, unless you want a no-show appointment.R. J. Kielty Plumbing Heating & Cooling, Inc. Response

I have spoken to customer and made him a 1st appt for any day that worked for him.
We had an emergency job and the tech did not let the office know he would be running over his time frame, So we did not reach out to the customer. I apologized and told the customer he is very important to us.
He is scheduled for us to go out and complete Friday.

Definitely not happy with this company! On the surface, they know all the answers they can tell you what you wanna hear. But they came out for a regular install on a 50 gallon water heater. And did not have the product with them. The technician had to leave and go get one. We requested the 50 gallon tall because we had made a specific area for it to fit in. And he came back with a 50 gallon medium, which is much rounder than what we wanted. I have called six times, since several emails. I called R.J. requesting a maintenance service for my water heater. A technician came out, hooked a hose to the water heater, drained it for 5min and said the anode rod was 20% used. How could anyone possibly know how used the anode rod is unless you take it out of the water heater and PHYSICALLY inspect it. He was here for a total of 10min of “work” and proceeded to charge me $300. All he did was drain the heater with a hose for 5min and then tell me I wasn’t getting ripped off for another 5min. **************** Service call was prompt (next day) to come out on a plumbing call. Their service techs are very professional and explain things very easily for the customer to understand. We also use them for our HVAC contract service. I would highly recommend their service to anyone. Their pricing for their different types of services they perform is very reasonable as well.Our service technician was excellent !!
