    Dispute of $332.20 with The Simple Wine, original Transaction June 30, 2023 This letter is to dispute $332.20 paid to The Simple Wine because inferior products that were provided to me in two purchases. The owner agreed to provide a store credit of ****** but has only executed a credit of $282.20.     I ordered a 3.5oz of ********************** caviar and paid a total of $125.49 on January 12th. On January 13th I received an email saying my order was on the way. I didnt not receive my order until the evening of January 21st. When I received my order the caviar, which is a perishable item, it was completely warm and the ice packs were melted and warm as well. Caviar must be chilled at all times or it goes bad very quickly and is no longer safe to consume - especially considering how long the shipping took. I reached out to the company asking for a refund due to improper packaging and failing to deliver the product within a timeframe that would allow the product to maintain its integrity. The customer service **** ******* basically mocked me and told me that if I wasnt so cheap with purchasing the cheaper shipping option that this wouldnt have happened and because I was so cheap he wouldnt do anything about this (paraphrasing because this is the message he was sending in his condescending and rude email). I dont think its outrageous for one to assume shipping would take ***** hours for perishable items and the company should be responsible for ensuring this is within their contract with the delivery service. Obviously this establishment is not concerned with the fact that they send items that take 9 days to be delivered. ****** also mentioned it should still be good to eat because its 40 in ******** - how kind of him to encourage me to eat spoiled seafood, which everyone knows will get you very sick. Also, it was only in ******** for 1 day prior to arriving and was in a facility. This package stayed in a shipping facility in *************** from Jan 13th until around the 19th when I was notified it had moved from that shipping facility. I am simply requesting a refund for food that I can not safely consume - no more, no less.

    Order been refunded. 

    Despite customer at own risk choose non-guaranteed **** 3 business day delivery instead of recommended 1 business day guaranteed delivery for only +$15 and therefore our company can't be responsible for customers decision and carriers delay. Also item been purchased has "no-return" , "non-refund " policy and any customer selection the product agreed to the policy before purchasing.. Despite all these above, customer to not insult us any longer we refund order in full. A weeks ago. We can't understand why this so called "complain " is still actual?please contact customer and remove thus complain !!
