I contracted this company to paint, weatherproof, etc. my home. They did not complete the job.I spoke with ******** about resolving this and she was unbelievably unprofessional. Making threats, using horribly obscene language, screaming at me and not letting me get a word in edgewise. This items that remain to be addressed are very obvious. Photos were sent to *******, the project manager, and Sumaiya in the office. These are areas that I feel they should have seen on their own as they are obvious. Nonetheless, they are aware they need to be addressed. I have photos to upload showing the areas that need to be addressed.

I have more photos, but it would not allow me to upload.  Several areas where paint was dripped, sprayed or spilled on roof.  Several cracks on the walls to be pained that were supposed to all be sealed.  Messy job in all aspects of the scope of their work.

    Dear BBB,
Unfortunately, after 40+ years in the business with impeccable records this claim will have to be disputed. Now, we will have to demonstrate our side of the story.
From the moment this customer contacted us, we perceived it was going to be the most difficult client. Regardless, we do not discriminate, and we performed to the best of the industry standards from the beginning when she called the initial time.

We completed the job in full, per contractual agreement. There was a punch list that the customer sent to ******* (The Project Manager) and we went back to address it.
After, the customer continued to send pictures of things that were not part of our scope of work to clean up/ fix. However, in good faith we went there numerous times. (Which we have documented) to fix those issues and attend to her requests because the satisfaction of our customers is JTGPs TOP Priority. She continuously held up the process of closing out the project, formally.

We went over and above for this customer trying to please her. However, we have reached an impasse.

This claim is untrue and invalid. The Project Manager and the Office were in constant communication with her trying to please her. In addition, she inappropriately harassed one of the painters onsite to the point that they complained to the office that they were uncomfortable by being in her presence.

At this point, we have sent her an intent to lien and if she does not pay her balance on the terms of the letter, we will proceed to lien the property. We have all the rights, and have completed our contract, in full. We have everything recorded and documented and wed be more than happy to provide.

Also, this customer has an extensive background of providing false information.

BBB, you should do a background check or ****** search on ********************* ***** and will be amazed at what findings. Regrettably, we found this out too late.

I would appreciate it if you clean our name and find this claim untrue. Again, we have been in business for over 45 years and have never had any claims as such.

    Respectfully,

    ************************************* (CFO)

    Complaint: 21085780

I am rejecting this response because:

The complaint I filed is not false info. I have photographs to back it up. The areas in need of completion or repair are quite obvious.  They were here numerous times and still failed to complete the punch list.  I have no idea why. It cost me time away from work on numerous occasions and was frustrating.

In response to the accusation that I inappropriately harassed somebody. That is completely fabricated. I was always quite polite and civil to the crew and everyone in the office. It was actually the opposite. ******** in the office called me screaming and yelling obscenities.  The recorded message will speak for itself.

All I want is for the job to be completed.   Were you able to see the photographs of the areas that I expect to be completed?   They are claiming it is outside of their scope. Most of it is damage created by their team. If its not in their scope, then they need to hire somebody to fix it.  Or reduce the fee owed so I can pay to get it repaired or completed.

Also, Im pretty sure you cant file a lien against somebodys house without a reason. The job was not completed.   Otherwise, they would have been paid.

If you have any questions, please dont hesitate to reach out to me.

    Sincerely,

    *****************

This Claim should be closed as we have solved the disagreement.

John The Greek Painting (JTGP) and ***************** could not work out a solution to complete the alleged Final Punch List.

We, JTGP,  gave her credit of $1,155 for the alleged punch list in order to pacify this and close the situation out on an amicable matter. The agreement was that we will give her a credit and JTGP will not go back because she canceled or was not available for us to go. Also JTGP will not be liable to fix her house's issues.

***************** accepted the credit, she paid the invoice,  we have closed the file, and look forward to leaving this experience in the past.

We have attached the Final Paid Invoice showing the credit for your records. (We covered her address for privacy reasons)

Please remove this claim from our business as JTGP went, again, above and beyond closing the matter out in a way that *** would be pleased.

    Thank you,
    John The Greek Painting's Management.
