  BBB contacted FAFS about its business practices, as BBB had received significant complaint activity involving a large number of products using addresses owned, operated, and/or affiliated with the business. Addresses connected with FAFS have appeared as the return address on the packing slips for numerous product lines as well as their websites.
  
  The complaint activity and advertising practices are consistent across most of the product lines. BBB files indicate that the product lines have a pattern of complaints concerning unauthorized and/or unexpected charges and unresolved refund disputes. Complaints filed by consumers state that they signed up for what they thought was a free trial of a product and later discovered additional unauthorized and/or unexpected charges to their credit cards for additional amounts.
  
  In reviewing the advertising practices of the product lines, BBB has determined that the advertising used for most products makes no disclosure or has inadequate disclosure that customers are signing up for a continuity program. Also, many product lines have used fake celebrity endorsements of the products in the advertising (a list of celebrities used in conjunction with such advertising is provided later in this BBB profile). BBB's experience is that a product line is marketed for a period of time until it generates significant complaint activity, at which time that product line is discontinued.
  
  In December 2018, the business responded to BBB stating that it does not sell products and does not allow any customers to use its address.
  
  BBB's rating for FAFS reflects BBB's concerns with the business's practices. According to information in BBB files, FAFS appears to be a hub for problematic online sellers to conduct business. FAFS has knowledge that it has, as customers, many online sellers that are using deceptive practices to enroll consumers into continuity programs. FAFS chooses to continue to do business with these customers, profiting off of their financial successes that are born from these deceptive practices.
