    We have singed an pavers work contract at our home on 10/22/2024 and paid 50% advance for material purchase via bank check (check no 147) in favor of ********* Backyards LLC. Initial estimate to complete this work was 11/23/2024 and changed to 01/15/2025 due to material delay. When we started following up for material delivery during first week of January, he stopped attending our phone and now not responding on our email for refund.

However, they stopped answering my calls, text messages and they are no longer at the location listed in ****** The business is not responsive We did a project with this business two years ago and everything went great. We hired the business for a different project, paid the deposit and now they are no longer communicating.

    My husband and I used ******* Backyards in *********************** our backyard. While the experience required us to stay on top of them, the final product turned out well, so I felt confident recommending them to my parents this year. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a massive ********** parents have a large backyard and were excited to get it turfed. ******* came out, measured, provided a quote, and worked with them to choose a specific sample. After everything was agreed upon, they paid a $6,000 deposit and were told the work would begin the first week of *********** the start date approached, my parents received no updates. They tried reaching out multiple times via calls and texts but were completely ignored. My mother had to physically go to their office and demand to speak with someone. Only then, after an employee called their **** did they finally get a response.Instead of apologizing or offering a refund, the company insisted on setting up a meetingafter ghosting my parents for over a week! This lack of communication and refusal to address the situation professionally is appalling. ******* Backyards is clearly not the reliable company I worked with three years ago.

    We employed this company initially in April 2022 to re pave our pool deck. They used pavers and coping. It looked horrible. Gaps, mismatched, cut horribly and they ensured they would correct and after much hassle they did. When grouting the coping, the grout was smeared all over the coping leaving a white film. They tried to clean it, that did not work. They then tried sealing the deck which worked for about a month. Now all visible signs of the grout are everywhere, not to mention blotches on the pavers from salt strains which should not happen 2 months later if sealed properly. They did the sealant so fast that it dripped into the pool and left marks all on the tile. We have texted twice and called twice with no response. We paid almost $6000 for this with work ending in June. All of the coping has a white film on it. It looks horrible and is very upsetting. If they can't remove the film, then they should redo all the coping.
