Unsafe company, vehicle falling apart, missing pieces, tires are bald. a/c partially working, noises and smoke from the motor. It was impossible to reach them with any method of communication, we had to go to their office where 3 guys were just talking in the car, charges are excessive and hidden , they make you pay $15 for tolls although not needed and were suspended by governor. You have to pay up front before seeing your vehicle. Be aware you will pay more than what you would with any other reputable company after all their hidden fees.Review from Jose S

DO NOT RENT FROM AZ RENTAL. They are horrible please do not use them, They give you cars that are defective and lie about the services they will provide you! Car on terrible condition. I also have my CC insurance, personal and corporate insurance. They are forcing me to pay more than $23 insurance a day, no decline opt. Car was left in a parking lot and I had to pay the parking fee, never seen nothing like this before. Only way to get in contact is via whatsapp. All questions are responded " its in the contract.."Review from Bernard C

I have had problems with renting cars before. But, never as bad as this company. had to find the car in a public parking lot, NO AC, engine light on, car smelled only half a tank of gas. The car shimmied when you did over 50.Review from Sashamarie C

Accused of smoking in the car when we smoked outside the car. They took pictures of where we left our smoke on the tree and took one near the car with the door open.???? They state smell of smoke in the vehicle, so that is enough proof, not documentation of cleaning of a strong smell. So they'll now keep my security deposit of $500. And I was also charged for gas, when that was waived because they messed up the reservation when we arrived.Review from Angela G

Horrible. Waited over an hour for shuttle... never showed up so went with a different company. They also wanted 500 dollar deposit before even seeing the shuttle. Shady and scam. How are these people in business stealing from vacationers?Review from Laura Lee M

Horrible. Always on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes, as soon as you call. The vehicle wasn't even clean. Tape holding things together. The day we went to return it, the *** wouldn't work. First thing we did was take the emergency key out, but it wasn't even cut! So we couldn't unlock it. We ended walking to ********'s to replace the battery in the ***. That wasn't the issue. By the time ** called ** back, we had tried the above. She told us she would look into it and call us back. She did not, she emailed a ******* video on how to change the battery in the ***. I am still waiting for my refund for the battery. Oh and when I got home, they charged my credit card twice. You certainly get what you pay for.Review from Russell S

Hidden Cost—-I rented a car 11/2023 from AZ car rental and was sent the directions on how to and where to pick up the car at airport which was send after my 2nd request. keep in mind that this transpired after I signed the contract. In those instructions it states that I would have to pay parking to leave airport parking lot, how is this legal after the contract has been signed? Upon returning the car another charge for $25.76 tolls that I did not use…..,.So Renter Beware. I’m in communication with my credit card company to dispute the illegal charges.Review from Angelica D

0 stars.My credit card offers insurance if the rental car is paid with the card in full,because I declined the insurance from the rental company I was taken out a $3,000 deposit out of my card.I rented a car for $26 a day for 3 days.A small car."They say you get what you pay for". I got above and beyond.The smell of the car was horrible,I felt my body bitten by ticks,the car had animal hairs in the back seat and had dirty seats with "I don't know stains".My worst experience ever.Returned the car the same day,could not go thru 2 more days of the same.I had returned the 1st car because of all mentioned above plus the ignition keys battery said it had 0% and received a even worst car.I do have pictures of the animal hair, the stains and conditions of the cars,sadly I cannot share the smell.I left a USB cable in the 1st car I returned and forgot to take it out and when returned the 2nd car and asked for it, the employees said they did not see it.Reg flag also.I wasn't offered a refund for the 2days that I did not use.I really wanted to be done from this headache.I hope that someone smart can close this business down or obligate them to offer more sanitary conditions in the cars they rent.Review from Allison M

ZERO stars!! Scammers! They rent you shitty cars. Truck wouldn’t open to put luggages in. Car reeked of car piss. Promised they would deliver me a new car, never showed up. When I returned the vehicle, they told me they would waive the gas fee for my inconvenience, they lied! $130 charge was on my credit card!! The workers do not speak English and they are all liars. They need to be put out of business!
