  To Whom It May Concern,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Balcor Renewals, a company I hired to perform ceiling renovation work in my home. On 1/20/24 we agreed via text message that they would remove the popcorn ceiling and apply texture to my homes ceilings. The agreed-upon terms included a full payment upon completion of the job.The Problem is after being informed that the work was completed, I inspected the ceiling and found the following issues:1.Poor Quality of Work: The texture application was uneven and poorly done, leaving my ceiling in a disastrous state.2.Unfinished Work: Some areas of the ceiling remain incomplete.3.Unresponsive Communication: When I contacted the company to address the poor-quality work and requested repairs, they began ignoring my calls and texts.I have already paid the full amount for the project, trusting that the work would be completed to a professional standard. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter directly with Balcor Renewals, they have failed to respond or address my concerns.Desired Resolution I am seeking one of the following resolutions:1.That Balcor Renewals complete the project and repair the poor-quality work at no additional cost.2.A refund for the cost of the work so I can hire another contractor to complete the job properly I did attach the documents to support my complaint.I hope the BBB can assist in mediating this issue to ensure Balcor Renewals fulfills their obligations or provides fair compensation for their failure to deliver on the agreement.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,******** Repesco

  On October 21, 2024, Mr. **** ******* and Mr. ******** *******, employees of BALCOR Renewals, with contact number **************, located at *********************************************************************************************, entered into a verbal contract with ******************** for the amount of $2,700.00, including labor and materials.
  The work consisted of:
  Removing texture from the ceilings
  Applying texture
  Painting
  This work was completed over the course of one week. However, there were issues with the houses water service as it had been shut off. Finally, on October 26, 2024, the work was delivered as completed. However, Mrs. ******* expressed dissatisfaction with the work performed, specifically regarding the kitchen, dining room, and main entrance.
  The company proceeded to discuss the situation with the client to initiate a warranty process. However, the client indicated she was unavailable due to the house being occupied. Mr. **** *******, along with his team, was ready to address the warranty issue and visited the clients home four times, but no resolution was reached due to the clients unavailability.
  When Mrs. ******* eventually agreed to proceed with the warranty work, Mr. **** ******* and his team were already committed to other contracts and were unable to respond to the clients requests in a timely manner. As a result, Mrs. ******* decided to file a formal complaint with the authorities.
