I cancelled my subscription effective September 3, 2024. After that date I received another debit for an additional 12weeks, which I tried to resolve with customer service at the **********************. They said they would cancel that debit, which they did not. I had to dispute it through my credit card company. In yesterdays mail I received a collection notice that I owed an additional $45.46 for delivery between August 28 and October 8. I am not receiving the paper and I never want to receive the paper. I called customer service and spoke with a supervisor (who did not give her name after I spoke with her). She tried to say that I had to pay because I disputed the 12 week debit after I was paid in full. Then she tried to get me to pay half of the bill, which I refused. By the way this was sent to a collection company without even contacting me to pay the $45.46! Supposedly she said after some arguing that she would clear the collection. Lets hope she did. As I read the other complaints I see that they have done the same thing to other customers after they cancel their subscriptions. I hope that the BBB gives them the poorest rating that there is. I would advise anyone reading this that if you just have to get the paper pick it up at the store as they are very poorly run.

I called to stop renew of my newspaper subscription on 7/31/2024. I talked to ******, he said my last delivery would be 8/26/2024. My newspaper delivery stopped on that date. Then I received a bill for $12.52 which I didn't owe. I called and talked to Fem. She said she would cancel this bill. Now my newspaper is being delivered again. I do not want the Orlando Sentinel any more!!!! I didn't renew delivery!!! I am not going to pay for this newspaper!!! You can not speak to anyone in the U.S.A. about any problems.

Orlando Sentinel charged me $20 a month for 2 months for a subscription I dont remember making. I live in ******** and have no use for a Florida on line newspaper. When I called they said I probably accidently signed up for a trial subscription. This is possible although I dont remember doing so. My complaint is that they didnt notify me before debiting my credit card twice.

I am very upset with the Orlando Sentinel. I have been trying to get my subscription cancelled since November 2023. They gave me a cancellation date of February 22, ****. I want an immediate cancellation and credit for any prepayments. I have never dealt with such an unreasonable organization. I will be telling everyone I know about this awful experience. All I want is my money back.

They will auto renew your subscription without permission. Overseas customer service is impossible to understand. They will not cancel or refund the auto payment.

Since our long-time driver Jose left us over a year ago, you can toss a coin as to whether or not we receive a paper. Again, this morning, no paper. I have tried everything with Orlando Sentinel to secure our Sunday/Thursday delivery "opportunity". Have talked with a myriad of personnel and supervisors, have been given credits, have been promised proper delivery moving forward. Have tried their website multiple times. Today under the Orlando Sentinel website, under delivery problems, I get the message "The resource cannot be found"!!! Unbelievable! Anything you can do to help is appreciated.

I was going to write a long story of there incompetence. However I don't have to just read all the other complaints. I've lived in a lot of different cities in this country and this newspaper and customer service is about the worst in the country. Not state or county, but the whole USA. Don't waste your precious time or money. I would give them a negative 5 stars if I could. You've been warned by me and every one else. Stay far, far away and keep your money. You will be so much happier.

PICKED UP MY PAPER AND THE ONLY SECTIONS THAT WERE THERE WAS THE FRONT PAGE AND SPORTS PAGE. CALLED THE SENTINEL AND WAS TOLD THAT i WOULD RECEIVE A NEW PAPER THE NEXT DAY. DIDN'T RECEIVE A PAPER. CALLED AGAIN AND WAS TOLD THAT THOSE WERE THE ONLY 2 SECTIONS THAT THE SENTINEL WAS PRINTING AT THIS TIME. OBVIOUSLY YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE INCOMPETENT AND MAKE UP EXCUSES .

The Orlando Sentinel emails me an invoice every eight weeks but continues to charge my credit card every four weeks, which means I'm paying twice as much. Every time I call about this issue (and get placed on hold forever) they say they'll credit my account, but continue to charge my credit card every month. When I finally called to cancel after a year of monthly charges, they said my subscription will expire in two weeks. Where did all my credit go? They owe me hundreds of dollars, or at the very least longer access to my subscription! Bad management and incredibly poor customer service.
