We have been their customer for over 23 years for all our inside and outside **** as well as termite bond. Our account is set up on auto pay on our **************** card whenever a service is done This past spring they set up a new account for our lawn aeration and did not charge our account and we assumed it had been charged. We left for the summer until November. Early fall we got several calls saying we owed $275 - $300 for lawn service. The callers wanted our credit card number which made no sense since we are on auto pay and they have our card on file. The amounts callers wanted were never the same. We called Florida Pest each time and were told we had $0 balance and charges were always on our card. We assumed they were scam calls and asked Florida Pest to look into this and have a manager call us. That never happened. Upon return to Florida and going thru months of mail we had a letter from a ******************** asking for $390 we owed to ** ****. We called FL Pest (again told $0 balance) and the ***************** which finally tracked down the aeration bill. Finally FL Pest was able to see that we had 2 accounts but claimed we had to pay the *****************. This is no way to treat a loyal customer.Review from Brian T

We signed (and paid for) a one year contract In August. The following May we started getting billed for about 1/4 of the yearly price. Tried calling multiple times but could not connect with anyone. Paid the invoice anyway thinking "We will straighten this out sometime and I don't want a ding on my credit and do want to keep service". Huge mistake. It's now November. I have been able to talk to several humans, they keep assuring me that all is good and my account is up to date. Yet, I still have received any service. More importantly, I still am getting billing statements regarding payments I've already made and of course the threats of collection.Review from John G

Florida Pest Control - ***************, Winter Haven charge money in advance via a yearly contract and failed to provide charged / paid for services. Florida Pest Control indicated that they would refund my money but has continually indicated that they have asked their corporate office to issue the refund, but to no avail.
Derrick **** was my account manager and has failed to get me resolution for my refund of $166.00. He has indicated that he has escalated the issue but upper management seems to be taking the issue of ignoring the refund in hopes that I will simply go away.
Beware of doing business with Derrick or Florida Pest Control. You too can be caught up on their scam of issuing contracts, collecting money and failing to provide services.
I will also being filing a small claims court request, and putting my experiences on **************************** and Tampa television.
