I called the radio and won a vacation on 5/10/2023. Upon calling they ended saying I won a cruise as well and that I had 12 mos to book and 18 mos to take the trips. & I could pay the resort fees of $15 a day upon arrival. & that I only needed to book the vacation online via their site and everything would be good to go. I gave them a call today because I was ready to book and they told me I had to pay them a total of $140 today versus at the location and that I would receive a voucher to use within the year and that my vacation increased to 8/7 with no extra charge. My issue is that now I am seeing this is a scam via reviews on several sites and I want my monies refunded. I did not sign up for voucher and extra fees. This is a scam and the radio stations should be held accountable for false advertising. Again I want my money back. Who is to say that this voucher is valid or there wont be any other fees associated with this. Also, after I paid the fees and received a receipt and the booking site email that was it. No other communication. As well as when I called today the person on the phone said there is a totally different site.Initial Complaint

I contracted with a Family on Vacation for a service that was not delivered and they do not respond to phones, or emails. I contracted with *************************, who is named on the property LLC, on 8/30/22, to completed a timeshare cancellation that I started with a company that had disappeared. The last step of the timeshare cancellation, the recordation of the ownership transfer to A Family on Vacation, was the only thing pending and therefore I contacted them directly. A year and 5 months later and nothing happened. Since December 2022, and for six months or so, I got nothing but promises for call backs, for resolution with ****** the ** company, - "we got the documents signed"- "you will hear from Hilton this week". After January 2023, I ended paying the ** fees plus a penalty (it was his advice not to pay as the transfer is completed- "he would pay the fees if he had to" - then he stopped responding to phone calls after June 2023. I really wanted to believe he is working on it, but the lack of response indicated my naivety. Don't fall for this company.Initial Complaint

I was put in contact with Ms. J***** F****** from A Family on Vacation towards the end of 2021 / beginning of 2022 in order to assist me with the exit of my ******* timeshare. An agreed price of approx $4100 was transferred and the agreement was that the exit/cancellation would be completed by the end of April 2022. I learned that in February someone called ******* trying to impersonate me in order to exit the timeshare and upon further investigation found out that ******* doesn't deal with third party cancellation companies, something that would have been known and should have been disclosed at the beginning. This has caused a domino effect of problems and a refund request was made. No return correspondance has been received to date. The service that was agreed upon was not delivered. A full refund was requested via email.Initial Complaint

We were interested in getting out of our timeshare. On November 4, we paid $3595 to start the cancelation of our timeshare. On November 5, 2021 *************************** sent the following: This is to confirm that we have opened the above-referenced file pertaining to the timeshare contract you signed with Worldwide Property Transfers. They have hired us to consult with you on the Services. We did everything she asked for (copy of ownership documents and the most recent maintenance fee statement) Once received she sent a document packet to sign and have notarized where indicated and return. We completed everything they asked for and she also indicated she received it on 12/29/21. February 3, 2022 they said they were still processing the file. February 7, 2022, she said it could take 9 to 18 months. I sent email March 20, 2022, and she was unable to respond. October 17, 2022 this is what i received, Thank you for your email, I am currently on personal due without an exact return date at this time please email all inquiries to info@afamilyonvacation, and one of our agents will get back to you assoon as possible. Due to a high volume of clients at this time. They will provide a response within 24 - 48 hours. I emailed a few more times and no response or she was out. On November 13, i sent another email to both emails and it came back address not found. We feel we have been scammed since no emails work anymore and when i call the lines are busy or i got an answering machine saying they would call back. Never called back. What can we do. Before that we had world wide property transfers which we had paid them over $1500 and they didn't do anything either. Just want out of this timeshare or our money back. Please help.Initial Complaint

I am emailing you in reference to the sale of my timeshare vacation condo A.Family on Vacation LLC at 7512 Dr.Phillips Blvd.Ste 50-960 Orlando FL32819 .A representative of this company contacted me and told me they could sell my condo. They were very insistent . I decided to listen to their plan as my husband had health issues. I knew we could not really use them as we wanted to. In the beginning they were responsive to my phone calls and emails. When I spoke to Mr P****, owner of the company in June, he said the timeshare in Florida was sold. He would send me the final paperwork. I was really happy to hear that it had been sold. I was so happy that I decided to give him more money so my timeshare in New Hampshire could be sold.I have tried to get in contact with the company or Mr. P**** with no success. It looks like he changed phone numbers and email. I have no way of contacting this company anymore. I have looked up complaints about the company on the Better Business Bureau Site and they look similar to mine. No return emails or no return phone calls. I'm getting the bills for the maintenance for both of them but if they're sold I shouldn't be getting the bills. My husband has passed away and this whole situation has caused a lot more added stress. If you could help me in any way I'd appreciate it. Thank You ******************* email is********************** phone # ************Initial Complaint

We contracted with a prior firm, which outsourced to A Family on Vacation, to exit our timeshare with *******. After many months of no communication, and after having wired a significant sum to A Family on Vacation, we were told a final fee would be due in order for them to conclude our case. We paid this additional sum of $2401.35 in May, 2022 and were told our case would be settled in 8-12 weeks. This has not happened, and communication has ceased in the past couple of months (no response to emails). We have paid a significant sum of money for a service they have not yet rendered.Initial Complaint

I signed a contract and paid 1,300 dollars with the promise of releasing me from my timeshare. A Family on Vacation also received $2,000 from the original company attempting to sell our timeshare (no sale was ever made). After almost a year an agreement with the resort was made to transfer the timeshare back to them. All the legal documents were signed and notarized by my husband and I. Per the instructions of Jaylee F***** (Rep @ A Family on Vacation, legal dept) all the original documents were mailed to her the first week of June 2022. Since then I have been emailing Jaylee F****** and just last week I received an email stating that she is out on sick leave for an extended period of time. I have called and emailed the contact she provided us to follow up with. It's been weeks and no one is responding. I just want the original, notarized documents returned to me so I can settle this sale as soon as possible. This is definitely a breach of contract.Initial Complaint

Back in 2019, I contacted a company to sell my timeshare located at ************ at *********** Center, **************************************** I paid a fee of $5396 to the company, "A family On Vacation," located at 7512 Dr. Phillips Blvd., Ste 50-960, Orlando, Florida 32819 on 10/21/2020 (see attachment) and they indicated they would be able to sell my timeshare and get my name off of the title for the property. Over the next 2+ years, I kept checking in with my contact, Jaylee F****** to get updates, which she continuously indicated that it was in progress, in which case I still continued to have to pay my yearly fee for the property. The latest email I received was on 8/9/22 indicating that the deed had been recorded to remove me from the Title of my timeshare. I emailed Jaylee F****** on Wednesday, 10/19 to ask if I could get the confirmation to the deed indicating that my name was no longer on the Title of the Property at ******. I received an email replay back indicating that Jaylee was out of the office, with no projected timeline for return. I tried calling their number at (833) 326-8222, to find that it has been disconnected. I also tried to access their website "A Family On Vacation," which is also no longer in service. I feel this is a very large scam. I would like my payment back and would like my name off of my title for my timeshare so I no longer have to pay for this property asap
