This place doesnt listen to their patients. I woke up with bugs on me (earwigs and spiders). I felt forced to take medicine. I was brought in on false pretenses.

I went to this facility only for a alcohol detox and and I'm just telling you they had me on so many meds while I was there that were unnecessary to my alcohol only detox per my local MD when i got back home I went to my personal MD and he said all the meds they sent me home on would have killed me if I would have let them build all the way up in my system. And I personally saw 2 individuals held there against their will and I will say this the director her self bribed me with personal cell phone time just to leave a good review on ****** for her business which I changed to what was true once I was released all aspects of this place **** except my therapist she was amazing and they have a very serious c*** ***** ?? infestation the roaches came out of my cereal bowl about half the staff are very very very rude and it's nothing like u see on the website would not recommend for anybody that wants real help

I am thankful for the staff at Dignity Healing. The caseworkers, therapist, a nurse, and the finance manager behaved unethically while I was there for mental health treatment only. I was told by a call center representative that this was one of the best facilities to help me in my specific care needs. I was going through a lot of stress from trauma. I was diagnosed with a mental illness and wanted a second opinion on whether my symptoms were from trauma or the mental health diagnosis I received but wasn't sure about. I was told by the call center representative that I can get that clarification and receive individual therapy and group therapy at Dignity Healing in a week-long residency program. That sounded great. I was in the middle of selling my home and moving and going through a lot of personal stress. I thought a healing facility by the beach in Florida for a week would be perfect. Plus I would get plenty of mental health care and clarification about my diagnosis. I was lied to by the call center rep. I hear that they work on commission. I am not sure this is true, but I met other patients at the facility that were lied to as well. I was traumatized at the facility twice. They have no treatment plans or education to help mental health only patients, especially those with PTSD, like myself. I was lied to and misled by the caseworkers and therapists there. I was bullied by them. I was held captive there and was a victim of false imprisonment there. This was because they were traumatizing me and needed to go home. I paid cash to go to that facility. When I asked about a refund for the purpose of learning the procedures to withdraw from services and go home so that I'm not further harmed they held me captive. I had to threaten to walk off the facility in hopes I run into the police to tell them I am held captive before they allowed me to leave. They held me captive so they would not have to reimburse me my money. I only cared about my mental health.

WORST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD. wish i could give 0 stars. called them on a thursday looking for outpatient BUT i didn't realize it was out of state. Paola would not take no for an answer when i said that i did not feel comfortable going to Florida. my father (who would be paying for it) also agreed with me and was okay with me turning it down in favor of other treatment. they then proceeded to call me TWICE A DAY and leave various messages asking me about when i was coming when i had already turned them down. Dalton, from Florida, called me asking why i was looking for something more local, he did not accept that i simply said no. he was very combative, called me "sweetheart" in a sarcastic tone and implied that if i did not seek treatment WITH THEM that i would eventually kill myself. Next, came Emily, from New Jersey. Our conversation was much of the same. She did not take no for an answer and i told her the treatment plan STEP BY STEP that i was currently in. she said "okay but that hasn't worked for years." which is HIGHLY INCORRECT. when i went to tell her that i HAVE improved over the years, she spoke over me then hung up. My only saving grace was Christine from admissions who listened to me, accepted my refusal, and agreed to close my file. Currently waiting on an email that says in writing that my file is closed and they will no longer contact me. if this is how you allow your admissions staff to behave, i suggest you take a GOOD HARD LOOK at your hires. literally the most unsympathetic, rude individuals, if you conduct all business this way, your facility's priority is NOT healing but getting patient numbers up and money in your pockets.
