The lead levels are very high in this product. Third party testing shows 94 ppb. The *** issues a warning in water that has 15 ppb. The customer service was also very condescending. They claim because it's whole food based that lead is an unavoidable prsence. But there are ways to minimize lead levels by sourcing from farms with less lead in the soil. Especially during pregnancy, I would avoid this brand. They say that they are under 4micrograms per serving, but because lead has a cumulative presence in the body, I cannot in good conscience use this product.Business response

their prenatal probiotics have been out of stock for a significant period of time MULTIPLE times in the past year. and either it's sold out everywhere or the prices are JACKED UP (including their plain women's probiotics). i've reached out to their customer service several times and i have NOT heard back at all. it's disgusting that they can't even provide a proper update when customers who rely on their products are RIGHTFULLY concerned regarding when we can get our probiotics again esp POSTPARTUM customers. why is it out of stock constantly??? is it a supply chain issues? is it a legal health issue? they need to make this RIGHT.Business response

This organization has horrible customer service. I bought these gummy vitamins off of Amazon. The vitamins actually made me feel horrible. They made me feel sick. They gave me cramps. They made me vomit. I reached out to the manufacturer and the manufacturer basically told me to contact Amazon for a return however, per Amazon the vitamins are non-re-returnable I contacted Garden Of Life I spoke to ******** and ******** keeps for me to contact Amazon for the refund even though I explained to her that thats not an option and sent her a screenshot. She was absolutely not helpful whatsoever. Even after I provided documentation to ******** that Amazon would not issue the refund, she still failed to resolve the issue.Business response

I purchased protein powder, it was not protein powder. Wrong flavor wrong caloric amount wrong macro breakdown. Wrong product in the wrong container, missing scoop. All around its not the correct product, containing different ingredients than what was on the ingredient label. This is a major issue for a food product to have the wrong ingredients in it. I provided the lot # that the product came from. Instead of addressing the issue which could potentially kill someone due to allergies, they just told me that the seasonal differences in the produce are the reason it tastes so different. I do understand there are seasonal differences in produce, this issue is not that. You might end up killing someone if you dont fix your quality control issue.Business response

I am so very sorry that you do not care for our updated version of our Raw Organic Protein Chocolate. We do understand your concerns and would like to reassure that t he safety and efficacy of our products is of utmost concern. All raw materials have strict specifications and their Certificates of Analysis are kept on record. We also test all finished products for heavy metals, microbial growth and pathogenic species such as E. coli and Salmonella. WE also do checks to ensure that the correct products are in our bottles.
We have recently reformulated our Raw Organic Protein formulas in an attempt to improve the flavor and texture profiles. This has led to the change in the color, taste and texture that you are referring to. The products still have same amount of protein and amino acids. In the Raw Organic Protein, there is lower fat, lower net carbs, and more Vitamin A content. We've removed the carob bean gum. We did not remove the nutrients, as we did not add these nutrients to the formula; the Zinc, Manganese, Magnesium and Selenium are naturally occurring from our whole food ingredients, and they are still present in the formula in their naturally occurring amounts. Ingredients that are reaped in varying seasons can be different in composition, resulting in changes of nutrient value, color, taste, smell, and texture. Only products that are made with synthetic ingredients will not have changing consistency.

This company promised a replacement bottle of ********* I have been waiting for my flax oil for 2 and 1/2 months. I'm in the military and I ship in and out and I did not receive my flax oil. I just spent a half an hour on the phone arguing with stupid people that knew nothing about what I was talking about despite the fact I gave them order numbers etc etc. I want the flax oil complementary replacement that this company committed to me. Even though it is against Garden Of Life's policy to replace expired products, we sent her a replacement bottle. In April, **************** called to report that she received the order but, the box was empty. We again sent her another replacement bottle in April. In July, she called again to report that she did not get the second replacement sent in April and she reported that a digit was missing from her address. **************** was informed via email that, the item is currently out of stock and it will be sent when it is back in stock.

I'm going to ******* buying my products from this company who have changed their name and joined force with something else. I have been a purchaser of this company for 30 years since I was in my teens. This is not good customer service. Where is my bottle of flax oil please if you're not going to send it you can reimburse me please. Thank you
