Important information
- Additional Info:Since January 2021, BBB received a pattern of complaints concerning unauthorized charges received from FirstMedFoundation. Specifically, those who have filed BBB complaints allege they were notified by their financial institution about unauthorized charges received from a company they did not do business with.
In June 2021 and October 2021, BBB contacted the business to address the pattern of complaints.
The business replied, stating they market via a postcard solicitation for the telemedicine product and they receive inbound calls in response to the postcard, however the consumers may not remember the conversation. The business also stated there are multiple reasons why a consumer may not remember they spoke with them, as sometimes consumers may mix the business up with one of multiple competitors. The business stated they will improve their process by calling and emailing all clients before billing. FirstMedFoundation informed BBB they use the doctors network of MDLive Inc.
