I've been a member for 17 years. Have gone on over 25 vacations. Just recently upgraded to a new site that shows more places and other things to do. Got the full value of what I paid before. Was told it was like upgrading my iPhone from an 8 to a 13. The new site is great and super easy to use, no more having to call in. I'd say based on what I'm reading I got lucky, but I have 3 friends who also own Global and are relatively happy, The reason I didn't do 5 stars is well no one is perfect.

Thirty cows in a field. Twenty Eight chickens. How many didn't? It's simple math. If you want to be more confused just call customer service at Global. Okay, so we have simple math...30 cows in a field. 28 chickens. How many didn't? Let's change it again. Let's just rewrite the entire thing so it makes complete and utter sense. THIRTY COWS IN A FIELD, TWENTY ATE CHICKENS, HOW MANY DIDN'T? NOW THERE IS A PERFECTLY WRITTEN SCRIPT. And you can say it over and over and over and it sounds the same even if things look a little different. At Global it sounds one way but the outcome is way different depending on what they say or don't say. The simple math is I paid 4 payments towards my annual fee for the coming year. I didn't get any credit for it so I can't make any reservations without paying the entire annual fee even though I paid half of it already!

Company is a total scam. Dont go with them theyll take your money and not give you any of the product and then report you to collections.

Been paying for 1 star for 6 years the fees go up every year i will never be able to use this i feel like i was lead on and lied too the money i spent on this star the last 6 years i could have saved and had 1 really nice vacation already or a bunch of small ones and then the i still have to call them every year to let them know i do not want to renew so they do not charge me that outrageous fee and i have to start weeks before hand because nobody gets back to you

Received a phone call to help us to sell our timeshare in Vegas. Spent $5000.00. Received a phone call saying they had a buyer but I had to spend another $2400.00 that I would get back when the sell was completed. Signed papers etc. After a few weeks, would not returned phone calls or text messages. Scam Just wanted money. 08/02/2022

In October of 2019, my wife and I had the infamous 90 minute presentation and fell victim to this pyramid scheme. We were told we would have $1495 total with a $95 dollar down payment making the final total owed $1400. Our payments would be $43 a month. Somewhere along the way the debit card we used for automatic payments expired a new card issued. We didn't realize this until they called and left a voicemail informing we were 2 payments behind. When I tried to log into our online portal to update payment and pay the over due balance (first time using it), I could not gain access no matter what I did. I called the 800 number to make the payment and get help to reset my online account. Living in a different time zone and due to my hectic work schedule they are never available for me to speak to a human so I left a voicemail for someone to call me back and help. I received a call back and they offered to have me call in and give consent to use a different card and could leave the info on the voicemail....against my better judgement I did this as I did not want any penalties for late payment and at this time we were 2 payments behind. To this day they still have not taken the over due payment although they are taking the monthly auto payment????? And this was from more than a year ago, instead they are ruining my credit by reporting it even though we have continued to pay (minus these 2 payments totaling $86). To date we are getting bills in the mail saying we still owe $2065.05 as of 1/20/2022. I have made over a dozen attempts to call them now that my work schedule has calmed down, no one will help and they keep giving me the run around. I don't even know what to do at this point.

While on vacation I went to a seminar to get discounted tickets to a la'au. Global Discovery Vacations were the ones doing the presentation. They make it sound appealing and kept saying this is not a time share. In my opinion it's similar. First of all we should have got the discounted tickets and left like the majority of the guess! Every time I tried to book I've been unsuccessful . I called them to see how I can cancel and have this take off my credit report. When someone did answer the phone they were very rude and not helpful. I was even told that I need to book a year in advance just to reserve a place to stay during a vacation! I told the representative while we are in a pandemic and how am I suppose to know when we will be able to travel and most countries were closed. I was told that I just need to wait and keep trying. The worst decision ever! They don't care as long as they take your money every month! This company is a scam! I also was told that I can not sell this until the fifth year. Well I'm not even a year in to this! The representatives should be a shamed of themselves!
