    I called AdventHealth in Tarpon Springs on March 14, 2023 to inquire about taking a coronary calcium score test and was told the cost would be $99.00 out-of-pocket and not to use insurance since it was only $99 and would be less complicated than involving insurance. I went for the test on March 15, 2023 and paid them the $99.00. Took the test, got my results and then received an email on March 19, 2023 from AdventHealth stating I owe $462.22!! I called the number given for questions regarding the invoice, which is a third-party billing. They were not helpful and told me to call AdventHealth directly. I called AdventHealth in Tarpon Springs and after being transferred around, spoke with ******************************* in the ******************************* who was helpful at first and had a supervisor send a note to the billing company to explain that I should not be charged anything beyond the $99.00 already paid. ********* told me to call her back in a week to see if the charge has been removed yet. I spoke with her one other time and the charge was still not removed. She asked me to call her back the following week (week of April 24, 2023) and I have left her several messages with no return phone call. I am now at a loss of who to speak with or anyone who cares enough to help me with this wrongful billing. I am not going to pay this invoice and want to get this resolved. The runaround at AdventHealth is like none I have ever experienced in my lifetime. Please help.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I am confident that no one from AdventHealth will contact me, as I have never received a call back from them to date. They use HIPPA as an excuse to not respond/resolve this matter thru the BBB. If they are actually going to contact me, how? when? via what mode of correspondence, i.e, cell phone, email, etc.? I need more details from them regarding their response.
