I am writing to report a series of fraudulent business practices perpetrated by [*****] & other employees at ******************************* **** M/*******/*****].On October 10th, 2024, I visited the **** store located at ********************************************************************************************, with the intention of canceling my service. [*****] proposed switching to the iPhone 16 for free with their Value Plus Plan Trade-in Promotion. ************ *. assured me the phone would be free, except for taxes, & claimed my existing Next Up Plan would not apply. They provided a shipping label for my old iPhone 12 Pro 256GB & reinforced expediting shipping my trade in as quickly as possible .Afterward, the sales representative, **** *., admitted that the manager was upset with him for not adding more services to my package. This raised concerns about potential pressure to mislead customers for increased sales.On October 11th, I visited another **** branch and was informed that the original store had misinformed me about the trade-in. *******/***** confirmed thepromotion trade in package that ***** had relayed to me on October10th,2024. She claimed that I had been provided false information by the second store I visited for another opinion and that I did qualify for the trade-in. ************* service confirmed the deceit, claiming qualification for the promotion would only be supported by increasing my phone plan or receiving a $180 credit.I requested to cancel the trade-in & spoke with multiple unhelpful supervisors. I have in my possession audio recordings that clearly demonstrate ********* admission to falsehoods and deceptive business tactics. These recordings provide irrefutable evidence of their exploitation of employee knowledge for personal gain and to the detriment of the consumer (me). I am committed to exposing these individuals and the fraudulent practices they have engaged in. I will use all available resources to shed light on this matter and ensure that justice is served.Initial Complaint

11-27-23 I went to this store to have my phone upgraded. All I wanted to do was change the hardware and leave all the software and plans as is. Sounds like something that should be simple dont you think well they gave me the new phone and told me they were going to be setting up my watch for me which they did not. They told me it would take too long and I had to go home and do it so when I went home to find out that not only did they start the update for my watch they change my plan entirely. They deleted my tablet. They deleted my watch. I had nothing but this new phone under a new account number and my entire plan was changed and everything had been removed. I have had that account with **** for over 30 years and a in a matter of minute this woman removed my entire account since then Ive received several bills stating that my bill is now $280 higher than it was before and thats when I had **** Internet and home phone service as well. This now just for a new phone has jacked up my bill $280 and theres no reason for that whatsoever. Theres no reason I should be on a new plan theres no reason anything shouldve changed except for the cost of the lease of this new phone, thats the only thing that shouldve changed now Im trying to figure this all out and get everything fixed and get back onto one account and nobody can seem to help me. No one knows how to fix it. Nobody can tell me why Ive been charged all these extra fees and Im not paying these bills. This is not my fault. I didnt ask for this. All they wanted was a new phone and now Im sorry that I ever did it . Ive been with **** for over 30 years that I stayed before and I cant wait to leave them and never look back. This is unacceptable. The woman that we dealt with in this location name was ************** and she had stated that she was a manager however, looking at the paperwork it does not say shes a manager it says shes a sales rep.Initial Complaint

Transferred wireless service to **** on 9/26/23 on a plan 2 for 85. Came to be the sales rep processed my request with a $85 per line which comes to be $170 for two lines. When my bill came 11/1 I see that this is wrong, I called various times to ***, see calls, with no help. I called and texted rep to be told to go to the *** store. Went to *** store and after 2.5 hours the issue was corrected, but they are refusing to correct the charges. Why and I to pay over 150$ of phone service that I did not want nor used. Transaction was about Feb. 2022. I cancelled my internet subscription with ***** They requested their equipment back. I returned the equipment on June 2022. At that time the value of the equipment was listed as $150.00. Three months later I received a letter from **** requesting for me to pay the $150.00 even though they already got the modem for the account I had with them. I called ******** Services many times and got the same answer" I had to pay because I had returned the modem past 90 days after my contract closed." . At that time I requested to get the equipment (who pays for something they do not have in their possessions) but **** wanted to receive the payment and keep the modem. I told them that was illegal, but they dismissed me. I applied for a loan and was denied because I have a 'collection' account opened from **** regarding the equipment that they have and the supposedly balance I did not pay. I will close the account IF they give me the equipment, otherwise they MUST close that collections account. Please do me justice. **** gets away with this issue all the time.Initial Complaint

I went to Att employees to help me get my phone because I lost it and they instead lied me re among me now provide n ******************* and a picture of which I will not lie to protect criminals working for Att wireless. Now I dont even want the phone anymore free they give me **** a hard time for. Service only for. I will not provide picture id and will not give an favsavit to lie to the company. I also no longer wish to continue my account due to bad employeee interaction me lack of care md concern for a customer it seems no employee want to help me get my phone sent home I should be already had my phone but once it such problem I no longer want to continue my contact due to breach of revive plan md lying on behalf of Att employees and also will not be paying for the plan due to the fact Att is not sending me in phone in a timely manner I want my contrct terminated me lso my bill removed because since I made payment is still so t have phone therefore I will no longer be taking the. Myself and my family, signed an agreement for a plan with applied promos as described below:-$10 credit per line, per month because the representative ***** said she could do that for us. However, this was never applied.-$10 credit per line per month over 20 months for switching. However, it's been applied over 36 months making the monthly credit about $5 per line. -$10 per line, per month for bundling with another service. Which has been applied correctly.I am looking for the company to rectify the issue by applying a $15 per line, per month credit as ***** explained our plan would be $203 a month before tax and now it is about $248 a month before tax. No company should be able to lock a customer into a term agreement, with false advertisements or information. My two elderly parents who are on this account were concerned that something like this would happen and that is why we disclosed not being able to pay more than $240 with tax, which our bill is $283.43 with tax.
