  My 2nd Time Around bought a few items from my deceased 96 year old mother's apartment. First check was NSF. Promised to send a certified check. Stopped responding to messages for the last 4 months. While a small amount, it is a matter of principle to pay for items taken.

  I contacted **** on the the 26th of January and told him I would meet him to take care of this. He told me mail it. I asked for his address on 1/31/24 and just received it today. Check will be mailed tomorrow.

  This compamy was hired to perform a estste sale on the contents of my 83 year old Mother's home. The sale was held August 11th and 12th. He owes her $14,064.80. He has used numerous excuses for not sending a check. He finally sent a check for $2,064.80. Not the full amount. This check could not be cashed for insufficient funds. When I confronted him face to face he told me he was in financial trouble and used her money to pay his bills. He has still not paid any funds to date. He needs to pay her the full amount owed. I am also highly concerned that he is taking advantage of othet senior citizens as he had numerous sales listed on his website. DO NOT use this company they are dushonest and disreputable.

  January 13/14 2023 Estate sale held. Followed up for payment after one month; received payment following month; check bounced; requested replacement in March and have been following up since.

  We signed a contract with My 2nd Time Around LLC to hold an estate sale at my home on 4/22and 4/23. I was to receive 65% of the sale proceeds and they would receive 35%. After the sale, my home was stripped with only a roll of toilet paper at each toilet. A bedroom that had been taped off, because the furniture was going to the new buyers had the tape removed. We had purchased the large packages of paper towels and toilet paper for our new home. They took down the tape and took that also. The house had furnishings, china, oriental rugs and bedding worth over $5,000. Just one Stressless sofa from Copenhagen Imports cost $3,000. There was a full living room, family room, king size bedroom and dining room full of furniture. The owners of My 2nd Time Around have paid us nothing! They do not answer the phone, return calls. We went to their "store", which is a storage space in Parrish and they were not there. We feel these people have not met the terms of the contract. They have not told us what they sold, what prices were and what they did with the remaining pieces, including art work. Basically, they stole everything from the house. We have been unable to talk to them to resolve this.

  Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/05/26) */ First thing, it is not stated in our contract that we will provide an itemized list of items sold and their price. It does state that we have the sole right to price items at our discretion. The customer was apprised of this in discussions before signing the contract and everything is clearly called out in the contract. The customer advised us that everything had to go and at no time did he state any desire to keep anything that did not sell. The issue that he claims about the paper towels, toilet paper and garbage can, were given to us by his girl friend on the day that we were cleaning out. They were both there when we cleaned things out and we told him then they everything was being donated. The customer called us when he went back to his home and accused us of stealing a bottle of carpet cleaning solution along with the previously mentioned items. His girl friend gave them to my wife and told her to take them and not to tell him. He did call back a day or so later and apologized about the carpet cleaning bottle, as he found it at her house. He has not answered any of our calls or text messages and has accused us of stealing his furniture and items. He needs to retract this or I will be forced to pursue recourse.
