    Earlier this year I was seen at Panama City smiles with the impression from their team that they were in network with my insurance (****** *****************) after being complete with my appointment I left with the understanding that I did not owe anything. Months later July 2024, I received notice from Panama City smiles that I owed them $276.33. I reached out to the manager whom was very rude and unapologetic and refused to give me a contact whom I could speak with that could help me with my unforeseen circumstance. After which I bit the bullet and just paid the e statement that was sent to me from Panama City smiles ($276.33) and 2 weeks later I receive a collection notice from ********* & assoc . I feel financially attacked by Panama City smiles. I was rendered services by them under the pretense that they were within network with my insurance provider and then later Sent a bill to pay for the services And then I paid for it to just get it off of my back and now My credit report is being damaged due to Panama City smiles not collecting the total amount that I have already paid prior to sending my supposable debt to a debt collector. This is totally about of line and extremely unprofessional and I deserve a apology and my $276.33 back and more importantly, this removed from my credit report.

    Notes on PT account, do not support her statement made. 

    1. Spoke with PT about her account and how the insurance works when OON, PT seems to be confused as to being in network when her own insurance company said we have been out since 2019. Pt stated she refuses to pay the outstanding balance, sending balance to collection. PT also stated she would find me and my boss. PT is very hostile. I explained we submit insurance as a courtesy and OON the PT is resp. the the difference, also informed PT her insurance also mailed her a copy of this EOB, that stated this fact, pointed out it is located under the Beneficiary Liability amount. PT stated someone told her it would be 100% covered, yet there is nothing supporting that statement as the break down also say OON- SH 8/21

     

    2.Pt wanted to know why she is receiving bills. I explained that for her FMX was not paid due to freq. per the EOB. We are also out of network therefore there is no neg rate causing her to be charged office fees. She understands and is calling her ins. She states they told her we were in network. Her balance is $276.33. dc 8/21

     

    Once PT made payment on 9/3 ********* removed the amount out of collection.
