They overcharged me for something that I had a come back to the business. They still did not fix the issue and they charged me twenty four hundred dollars. They did not fix ghe problem and missing a day of work to have to go back again. Not professional. They suggested that I needed something fixed when I already had a brand new part for my car.

Once we were made aware of the issue, we invited the customer back to the shop to inspect and try to fix the issue under warranty. We found there was an exhaust leak in which we welded and repaired for free. The customer was satisfied with this solution. We also informed the customer that if the problem re-occurs then the catalytic converters will need to be replaced and that will require an additional cost.

The transaction occurred on 8/18/2022 They charged my debit card $****** They were supposed to provide an oil change that day, and they didn't do the service because the oil filter cap was damaged. I went to a Midas located at ************************* *************, ** *****. I went there because of a change oil discount. Even though I went a little late my car was taken. After that, I was told that they couldn't change the oil due to the fact that the oil filter cap was so damaged that they couldn't perform the task of changing the oil. That day I was given invoice #******* for $****** for the oil change, and amount other things a special order of an oil filter cap, and to come the next day for the procedure.I never went back for the oil change because I consider it way too expensive to pay $ ****** for an oil change for my ******* Later on, because I never received the oil change service, I asked my bank to claim the $****** that the store charged to my debit. On December 12, 2022, my bank communique to me that the store refused to give my money back. After that, I went personally to the store to talk to the owner, and I spoke personally to the store manager ***************** ( very patient, very professional employee), and I told her the reason for my visit to the store. She corroborated, with another store employee name *****, that the oil change service was never performed because the oil filter cap was still in stock ********** suggested I get the due oil change service then, but I really was not interested in paying $****** for an oil change. She communicated to the owner my objection to receiving the oil change service, and she told me that the owner will contact me back in reference to the issue. Ever since I went to the ************* store to resolve this $****** charge to my card without receiving the service on 12/16/2022, I called every week and waited for the owner to call me back for a resolution on this issue, and I never managed to talk to him. The last time I went to the store was January 6, 2023, I was not able to get a satisfactory answer to my problem, and a police officer that I called to report the matter, couldn't help me, and suggested I contact the corporation for assistance. The corporation washed its hands. Up to now, nobody has been able to help me to solve this issue. Please, I want my full $****** money returned to my account immediately. I'm looking forward to your help in getting my money back. They pushed me to do the oil change for the same amount of money, something I don't agree with.Transaction# ****** Invoice# *******

The customer ************************************* requested an engine oil change. Customer also needed a new oil filter housing/cap. Customer also authorized purchase of this item.

We performed all services as agreed upon and placed a special order for the oil filter cap that was needed. Customer is aware this item was a special order item and is non refundable.

To summarize, the customer has received and agreed upon services on the vehicle by Midas. Additionally, the services provided were described clearly on the invoice.

The customer has called the police, filed multiple complaints, and dispute charges with the credit card company used for payment and they have all explained to the customer that she agreed to our company policy which clearly states all special order items cannot be refunded.

    Thanks,
