    This is all due on our hurricane we had in 2021 we had damage to our home to our roof And we had an estimate by Max leverage roofing owner Shane Mulligan to turn into the insurance company and after weeks and weeks of waiting on our estimate we told him if he can’t get it and that we would have to find someone else so he has sent an estimate to our insurance company for over $100,000 just on the roof within this time we stand agreement for him to do the work and gave him our insurance checks for him to send to our mortgage company with his insurance information and his license to the company instead of sending the checks off he forge the checks and one of them was for over $32,000 he would not give us the money he did not do any work whatsoever to our home he had lots of excuses on coming to give us another estimate on the roof since insert red flag us and told us that the roof will not exceed $100,000 so we asked for another estimate because we cannot pay for what he was asking on the roof this went on for years he told us he will not give us our money back he is keeping the money and there’s nothing that we can do because we signed a contract this went on for a year call the police department they could do nothing We call the Florida state regulation division they couldn’t do nothing with County business department they couldn’t do nothing we had Our lawyer sent a letter demanding to refund us our money Shane Did nothing we have a letter stating that they will come and repair a roof we heard nothing after that we had to get a roof Repaired because of insurance was due and we couldn’t get insurance without a roof the roof cost us $34,000 that’s including the Eve repairs and apartment Shane would not help us in anyway he will not return none of our calls he would not come by he completely ignored our phone calls he stole $32,000 he forge the check He never touch nothing on our house we could not afford him to do our roof for over 100,000

    In May 2023 we found mold in our condo in Banana Bay on Perdido Key and found out that the metal roof put on by Maxx Leverage only two years ago was leaking. There was a problem with screws not put in completely and a bad job with non-existent flashing. After finally reaching someone, a man was sent out who only worked on a portion of the flashing that needed to be done. After that we had the whole condo painted inside to paint where mold damage had been. We paid for this ourselves thinking they had done their job. June 12th a family member found more leakage into the front of the condo inside. They had not repaired the roof in that area. Now we will probably have to paint that part again. We had a roofer come to look at it and he told us that Maxx Leverage had done a very poor job. Since finding out about the new leak we have texted and called many times and not one response from anyone. If you call any of their numbers you will be disconnected. Back either at the end of April or beginning of May we were able to get a woman named Susan who is the one who finally gave us the number of someone at the P’cola branch and that is when they sent someone out. Now we have called and left messages and texted her with no response. We really need them to make this right because we aren’t there all the time and are afraid of more mold. Susan’s number is 954-857-4975. Hope you can help get this resolved for us. Thank you.

    We regret to inform you that as of March, we have closed our Pensacola office and no longer have any staff operating from that location. Due to unforeseen financial challenges, we have made the difficult decision to begin the process of closing down the company. Unfortunately, this situation has led us towards a path of bankruptcy. We understand the impact this may have on our customers, and we deeply apologize for any disruption or inconvenience this has caused you.

    Moreover, we want to acknowledge the recent weather disturbances that may have affected your warranty coverage. We are aware that several storms have occurred that void the warranty. Most recently the Tornado in April."

    I am rejecting this response because:  Maxx Leverage had plenty of time to make good repairs before closing the office and refusing to answer calls. We just had another roofing company look at the roof for us and has told us the problems with the terrible job Maxx Leverage did on our roof.  Weather has not been a factor with our roof problem and they know that.  Maxx Leverage made sure they received the payment for the shoddy work performed, though.
