This company was hired to seal roof since leaks from roofover being destroyed from Hurricane ******. They were very busy but finally did the work Dec 18 and we're paid in full $945. When it rained the first time, water was pouring in my bedroom window and down the wall. I called and ***** agreed to check it out. He cleaned a gutter on Jan 16 and thought problem was solved. It wasn't. I told him, he said he would check again but never came back. I called him and he was very nasty and said not to call him again. As of today, my house is leaking terribly and I am looking for another place to live. I'm afraid of possible mold due to water running behind walls.

This response was taken verbally by the BBB:

The consumers home was damage by the hurricanes and we advised that they needed a new roof. We did try make repairs but advised there were no guaranties due to damage. We patched the home holes and replaced vents. We have been back to the consumer home 2 times and as goodwill we cleaned out some of the gutters. At this time we stand that the consumer needs a new roof and we are not able to make any further repairs.

I am rejecting this response because:
As of today, Tues, Feb 4, 2025 the Contractor ***** did call me back.  I explained why the complaint was made stating he promised to come back and check his work but did not.  I felt he was not taking my calls so decided to call BBB to resolve.  He asked me to call him this Thursday,  Feb 6 and he would come out to evaluate the situation.   I am glad he finally agreed to do this and will consider this resolved.
    Sincerely,

    ***** *******
