  I was misled when I reached out to the company regarding the service.All the company did was have me fill out a questionnaire and copy & paste the information on the questionnaire word for word. I needed help filling it out in completion.I was asked to Please check them over for any typos also advising that information was missing I also noticed other areas that were checked by the company & needed information & when I questioned the company their responded was "We cannot by law analyze documents for you and tell you what to put in the lines as that would be against the law and acting as paralegals " yet they advised me on what was missing I too asked about additional information that was checked and missing.It wasn't a legal question.The owner then sent me round & round in circles.1st telling me that everything is done by email or virtual when requesting a call. Then telling me the time for questions would have been at the time you were completing the form so now I'mbeing restricted.Then emailing me saying they don't generally accept emails as a part of the gathering process as it is too cumbersome and for obvious reasons. I just need the form filled out correctly. Then the company proceeds towrites lengthy emails to confuse me & not understand or focus my needs or concerns.Then the owner advises me that she "doesn't think this is gonna be a good fit.We do not generally give out refunds specially after we did the work but I think in this case it be in our best interest. Thank you so much and best of luck to you."However please know we will be happy to provide you with a refund. Thank you so much."Offered a refund twice $300. Lies saying they only offered a refund twice.Then tried to get me on the phone to twist our correspondence back in an emailwith an inaccurate account of what took place to justify not givingme back a refund.The company did not provide the service they claimed they provided.They were very unprofessional, misleading,conniving & manipulative.

  Attached is Ms. ********** dispute she filed with her bank after we spoke on September 30, 2022 wherein she requested a charge back. Also, attached is my rebuttal and all supporting documents. I believe ********************** received the refund from her bank right away but I am still fighting it and hope to get that reversed. I use Intuit Quick Books and have a great reputation with them as a business so they generally fight for me and I do not need to respond to any disputes moving forward as they are familiar with how my business model is set up and know I do everything consistent with Florida law. However, it is my option to fight it and I choose to do so in this case given the fraudulent nature. Additionally, ********************** should not be authorized two refunds so why she is asking here does not make sense unless she anticipates losing her first dispute through her bank.

  Notice, my last and final email to her on September 30, 2022 as a recap of our phone conversation wherein I had initially offered a refund of $100 against my better judgment due to stress of the pending Hurricane *** and her haunting me knowing she believed she really would not get approved for a name change through the courts and did not wish to get background checked and/or fingerprinted. There seemed to be a lot she was hiding from, including a bankruptcy which she had not yet been discharged from and was making payments to creditors, etc.

  Anyway, I truly believe this dispute should be closed and not posted publicly when someone tries to defraud the company that tries to help them, the legal system, and now BBB.

Again, after 30 years in the legal industry, we are fully aware of the laws in this State and take them very seriously and try to offer low cost assistance to those who either cannot afford a lawyer or who choose for their own reasons to be self-represented.

  This is another example where this business is attempting to twist my words and not paying attention to what is being said. The same issue I had when I was trying to do business with this company. She is playing mind games with me, twisting my words. When I asked for clarification instead of addressing my concerns she blew things out of proportion sending my lengthy e-mails and not addressing my concerns which was to completely and fully fill in the form by giving the documentation that was being requested that was addressing my bankruptcy but instead the company threw legal verbiage at me via e-mail. Reminding BBB that the company had no issues addressing other areas where information was missing.  Perhaps the company didn't know what needed to go on the form hence the lengthy e-mails and the runaround to redirect my concerns.

  The company put a check **** under the 2nd option where it asks for any judgements and the form clearly asks for more so when I proceed to ask about that section I kept getting push back.

  More lies to discredit me. The company was aware that my bankruptcies were discharged I just didn't know what the **** needed since they were discharged and I didn't have copies with. Again makes no sense why I would want to hide my bankruptcy when the goal was to get a simple name change. My e-mail on On Tue, Sep 27, 2022 at 8:34 PM ********************************* clearly discusses my bankruptcy and at not point was I hiding information. My goal was to fill the form out accurately and complete. 

  The company offered me a refund in my e-mail twice and I have confirmed with BBB via e-mail. This all happened before she then wanted to get me on the phone to change the amount of the refund. More mind games and manipulation.  I have never in my life been dealt with this way by a company that is supposed to offer assistance. The company wanted to part ways with a refund I agreed. After that there was not much to say but the company insisted on talking to me then preceded to write an INACCURATE account in September 30th e-mail to cover themselves  From Doc Pre Services " my last and final email to her on September 30, 2022 as a recap of our phone conversation wherein I had INITIALLY offered a refund of $100 against my better judgment due to stress of the pending " Keep in Mind BBB a refund was offered on Tue, Sep 27, 2022, 10:30 PM South Florida Legal Doc Prep Services and Sent: Thursday, September 29, 2022 10:54 AM. not initially on the 30th of September. More lies from the company.  My bank called me yesterday and at no time did my bank inform me that the company responded to my complaint offering $100 either. More misrepresentation. 
  I too read the form which clearly sated that if you going back to original names there was no need for a background check so when the company advised that I needed a background check I read back what was clearly on the form number

  Unless I am seeking to restore a former name, a copy of my fingerprints has been taken in a manner approved by the ********** of *** Enforcement and submitted for a state and national criminal history records check.
  and the company agreed. So why would I refuse to do a  background check ? That makes no sense. More lies to discredit me. South Florida Legals' Words was that I "did not wish to get background checked and/or fingerprinted. 
  This company prides themselves on their experience and reputation but they dropped the ball with me. Constantly talking about it and bringing it up doesn't take away from my experience. I was very disappointed with the communication, treatment  and service. This is clear in the emails that the company sent when I was first offered a refund. They were more concerned about their reputation and being faced with challenging questions than addressing my valid concerns. They can't even honor their words and flip flop. Nothing is fraudulent here. I have provided the emails. I am very disappointed with the treatment so I will continue to fight for my refund. With my bank and with BBB and any other platform that will hear my experience which is getting worse with more lies that the company is now presenting the the BBB. I don't need to make this up. It's in the e-mails.

In *his case, her former name was no* her maiden name as she had wan*ed *o ge* changed back *o bu* she had previously been married and had *aken on a new name

  on Feb 25th 2022 I agree to the charge of $649.00. This charge was for the mentioned firm to complete and efile a summary of administration under ******. the petition was rejected at least 5 times due to it not being submitted with the correct documents. I called the broward county probate division to inquire what the issue was and for each rejection she didn't upload the correct documents. When I sent her the screen shots of what needs to be changed she said I was bullying her and for any more changes she was going to charge me more. The petition is still rejected for not being uploaded correctly so I paid for a service that was not completed. I would like a partial refund since now I have to pay someone else to what I already paid her to do.

  This person filing this complaint is simply fabricating reasons to extort money out of business owner and has spent nonstop time harassing us from the beginning. Not only is she being dishonest in her allegations against our company, but she also has acknowledged to us her intentions to defraud the court for which we let her know we are not happy about. We have already told her she is not entitled to a refund for the reasons that 1) she signed a "no refund" disclosure with us 2) we did all the work for which she emailed us and confirmed is done (a copy of the court docket showing the petition and all documents are confirmed and docketed and a case no and judge has been accepted) and 3) she has been so unprofessional we asked her to cease and desist from any further contact after even after she confirmed we prepared all her documents and assisted her in efiling. She keeps stating because the court rejected a filing a time or two for reasons beyond our own wrongdoing, that it took a bit longer to get the filing through. The petition has never been rejected and is showing on the court docket as accepted. We charge a meager $50 to assist in the efiling for which we did do so there is certainly no merit for a refund of any sort, nor a meritless complaint.

  We have already addressed this before with her as she knows. We will just copy and past it in here.

We are just waiting for the court to accept your efiling. (We found out that the issues were also fabricated by her and that the court in fact had already accepted her filing). Once that is done, you will have received the full benefit of our service. (She confirmed same day it was all accepted).  As we generally go above and beyond for our clients, we do not feel comfortable in being asked to help deceive the court. Any bells and whistles will more than likely not be forthcoming in this situation.Further, there are so many things wrong with the way you have handled your late mothers probate matter. You started out asking us if it would be okay if you do not disclose the creditors to the court or in your documents, as you are "living paycheck to paycheck". You are trying to obtain your late mother's vehicle and bank account and there is a lot of money still owed on the vehicle and there are other creditors out there which you do not wish to reveal. We let you know that we are not comfortable with the position you are taking and remind you that you have signed under oath that you have done your due diligence in obtaining information regarding any creditors.You have gone into your account we created with the Florida eportal and started making changes. We efiled your documents correctly, but they wanted you to advise of the date you are going to file a notice to creditors publication and you asked us to remove the document from filing after you approved it as you do not want to notify creditors. Nothing we filed was incorrect as we told you. It was you making changes and the court asking about the ***** Blue Book printout of the appraised value of the vehicle that they did not understand so you just asked us to remove it. Once again, this is not anything we filed incorrectly, it is you changing what you want to reveal to the Court.We are guessing you are getting pressure put on you about the vehicle being repossessed so you are getting a bit nervous. Not really sure. We did send you a checklist to assist you in helping you to gather information regarding creditors, but you did not wish to handle it appropriately, but instead decided to move quickly on probating the estate without obtaining information from creditors, knowing full well there were some out there. Only now because you are under time constraints and may or may not get the court to enter an Order of ********************** or that creditors may come forward to file a Statement of Claim against the estate, you are unhappy.We are sorry this is not going well for you, but we do not feel comfortable being part of you deceiving the court which is what we told you. After a rampage of emails demanding us to jump now and being very unprofessional and asking that you allow us to get some work done and stop emailing us with threats, we did ask you to stop bullying us. You were not overcharged. We never even charged you for any changes you had us making. If you are seeking a refund, unfortunately, there will not be one issued.
