The front desk staff are condescending and rude. I had a lot of trouble communicating with the clinical staff as the majority didnt speak English well. I wound up needing a tooth pulled, the amount of pain I experienced while under their care was outrageous. I was discharged without any after care instructions, despite getting stiches, they also refused me pain medication. I had to call another dentist office to learn how to care for my wound, and to get follow up treatment, the worst dental experience of my 50 years. As they only performed 1/2 the procedure I requested a refund, because I will not be returning. Every time I request this I get hung up on, when my wife went in to the office they made excuses. I still havent got my refund of about $279

    Hello,

The doctor communicated with the patient to establish a relationship, and he performed one extraction. The extraction was a difficult one so the doctor decided to only do one of two extractions originally planned, and *****, the doctor and dental assistant were good.

The doctor discussed OTC (over the counter) pain medication and the patient stated to the doctor that he had medicine at home. Things escalated once *****'s wife found out at the front desk that he did not get narcotics, and unfortunately from this point forward, it was complete chaos.  The team members and doctor explained everything in detail, but the patient then stated he was not informed and continued to discuss things that he thinks were said but were not.

The patient has been issued a refund for the procedure the doctor was not able to complete.

    Thank you.

I went to an appointment for a root canal. They would not start until i agreed to pay half up front ($448). The first attempt failed due to horrible pain. After a second round of numbing shots the dentist was ready to go but the assistant refused to stay and said the rest of the staff had already gone (it was 4:45 by that time). I never received a root canal. The office has agreed to give a credit to my account instead of a refund. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE. I simply want a refund of the money i paid for a service that was not and could not be rendered. Either put the money back on my credit card or mail me a check.

Due to an oversight in April when the patient requested the money back, it was not processed on her Care Credit account as it should have been.  The patient was contacted this morning, and the refund was issued to her Care Credit account promptly.

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

    Thank you.

Continue to receive billing statement for $146.00 for alleged service date 03/19/2023. I did not then, nor have I, nor do I intend to have service from SMILE DESIGN DENTISTRY. I have called and left numerous voice mails requesting call backs with ZERO response from the business. Call to the business are UNANSWERED, as they go to their telephone answering system.
