Choice Furniture has not paid a total of $667.7 for consigning household goods. The initial contract was signed 1.15.24. According to the contract I should have received a check for $559.20 on 4/30/24 (check number *****). I should have received check ***** for $155.50 on 5.30.24 but did not until 7.30.24. Attached are the numerous texted between me and the Choice accounting office. We are snowbirds so when I got back to town last week (1.22.25) and left a note to the owner about not receiving my money. Have not heard back. They indicate that 5 items (an upholstered chair and 4 other significant items) have sold for $46! That is an extremely low amount. Also 2 items I assume in January sold for $62.50. The three checks total $667.77. This has been a very stressful situation keeping tabs on them and not having any resolution. I am sure this canot be happening to only me. Other people mention these issues in their ****** reviews.Most of the furniture in the store does not have any price tags. I did know that my sofabed couch had a price of $1000 but they said they sold it for $599 (my portion was $239.6. I have no confidence in what it really sold for. Anyway I just want my money and be done with them.Customer response

I have received the 3 checks owed to me. Thank you for calling them because they have stalled me for a year. I would like to have my complaint online so others will not get scammed.

I gave the Auction house 3 pcs. of furniture. They advised me they sold a console and would give me my share-- $500.00. This was in April. They said they pay end of May. It is now July and I have not received my money! I have called several times.Initial Complaint

On 4/23/24 I received a text from the Choice bookkeeping ***** stating I should be receiving a check in the amount of $719.60 and that it is scheduled to be mailed but they did not know when. I then called bookkeeping on 5/14, 5/28, and received no response. I called Choice on 6/4 and asked to speak to the owner; was told they would give them message. No response. On 6/4 received text from bookkeeping stating they would touch base with owner but had no date as to when check would be mailed. I called on 6/13 and asked to speak with owner again; was told they would give the message. Left message with bookkeeping again on 6/13 and 6/21 as well as sending email. I have also contacted the ********************* of consumer affairs. Am looking for a solution to this; it has been over 6 months.Initial Complaint

On Nov 30,2023 I signed an agreement with Choice to Consign a couch and loveseat and a set of 3 glass tables. I understood that it might be a few weeks before anything might be sold. I contacted Choice at the end of January 2024 and spoke with someone in the St Lucie Store*************) and asked if anything was sold. I was told that the glass tables had been sold and I should be getting a check for $279.60 around the 2nd week of Feb.2024. I also was told I should check with accounting for a specific time and to call them at ************. I called on 2/20/24 at 1:20 pm and left a message. No response. I then called on 2/21/24 at 10:40 am and left a message. No response. I called again on 2/22 at 10:30 am and spoke with **** who said they should get back to me within a couple of days. On 2/22/24 I received a text stating it would be mailed out. Based on my past conversations, or lack thereof, I do not have confidence that I will be seeing this check. I also would like to know if the green couch set has been sold and if so, when I would be receiving a check for that.Initial Complaint

Choice Furniture picked up 143 pieces of furniture 07/2023 and they are extremely difficult to speak to. When they are asked simple questions they get defensive and they say they will only pay 180 days after they sell your goods. When you ask them anything they get defensive whoch spells out they have $$$ problems.Initial Complaint

I contracted with Choice Auctions Gallery **** to sell my furniture from a condo in ***************, **. We sold the condo. I contracted with them on 5/26/2022. The contract said that I would receive 50% of the price that Choice would sell our furniture for.I communicated with Choice accounting by email on 9/19/2022, 1/29/2023, 8/28/2023, and 11/2/2023 attempting to find out why i did not receive their checks **** for $ ****** and ***** for $ 324.50.(which they told me I would receive)Choice told me that they had sent these checks and that the checks were never cashed. The told me that they would reissue the checks and send them to **** have not received the checks.Initial Complaint

I had consigned a Natuzzi Leather sectional sofa with Choice Furniture & Auction Gallery on March 17, 2022. I have been waiting for my payment ever since. I contacted CHOICE Furniture Gallery via phone, as instructed by their staff, and left a message for the accountant. I was sent a text from the accountant (? name) stating the sofa was sold in July 2022 and here it is October and still no check. I have tried repeatedly to contact this accountant, no answer. I received one text from this accountant stating I am due $ and the check would be sent by the end of the month (August was the month of the correspondence). It is now the end of October and I still have not received any check.Choice Furniture & Auction Gallery certainly got their money in July. Nine months have passed since I gave my sofa to this highly suspicious, non-trustworthy company. They are liars and certainly do not perform good business practice. BEWAREInitial Complaint

This company was contracted to sell my furniture and after checking the store I contacted them about the sales. The account **** said items were all sold and I had 2 checks that would be sent out it has been over 3 mos. I have left messages and no one responds. I kept the text from acct with amounts and explanation. This is unacceptable.Initial Complaint

In Oct.2020, we moved from **************, **. Choice Auction Gallery took our entire household of furniture. The agreement was for them to sell it and give us 40% of the sales. To date, we have recieved money for only a fraction of our items (as listed by them on the inventory list provided to us by them). We have been trying to find out from them since Jan. 2022 where the remainder of our items are, why they have not been sold and why we have not been paid in full. In January, we were told they would get back to us in a week, It is now ****** **** have never gotten back to us. We have called almost every week and they will not return our calls, as they promised, to let us know what was going on with our account with them. At this point we feel that they have taken advantage of us and have not upheld their end of the deal we made. Most of the items not accounted for are all our large furntiure items and would most likely be sold for the larger dollar amounts. At this point, we are thoroughly dissappointed and disgusted with Choice Auction Gallery, We feel that they are neither honest or reputable and would never recommend doing business with them to anyone.
