Last summer I had a compressor go out and the bottom line was that they needed $300 for shipping to bring a new compressor in and to ship it back to the manufacturer along with another $125 or whatever for a diagnostic fee. I thought that was odd and called the manufacturer and they said Vince Tisco had not turned in a claim for the warranty. Later I went with another company and during their maintenance inspection it was discovered that several things were not done right. This caused my electric bill to increase by 50%. After the other company fixed what Tisco didn't do right, my electric bill went back to normal. Sadly after using Vince Tisco for 20 years I will not be using them again.

Thank you for the review. You were charged properly for the correct work, and unfortunately the compressor had to be delivered via freightliner, that's why the shipping was expensive. I'm not sure what you're referring to about your electric bill, because we never heard back from you after the repair. I assume if there was some error on our behalf you would have contacted us. The warranty was processed through the manufacture in *****, not locally, as I assume you checked on that around town. I'm glad we were able to get your system up and running again, in only two business days, with no ($0) charge for labor or the new compressor!

I did contact you and questioned why a shipping charge was required. I still think that was baloney. You didn't give me a choice but said if you want it fixed that's what it was going to cost and if you're like any other HVAC company you would be getting daily if not weekly shipments. I was also told that the old compressor needed to be shipped back to the Tampa area so they could determine why it failed. I'm guessing it failed because of faulty installation of the unit. The electric bill was determined to be high because the replacement compressor was improperly installed. The manufacturer of the system at the time had no record of your warranty claim. They came out to install a new ac system. First off the supervisor said since they were coming out on the weekend I would have to pay his worker 200 cash. That was a red flag that I chose to ignore. I have had nothing but problems with the ac since they installed it. The first year they kept coming out and charging visit fees and diagnostic fees when all they would do is pour bleach down the drain. After a year of them having to keep coming out I decided to call another company that found out a slow refrigerant leak had been the cause of a brand new ac struggling to cool. The refrigerant leak caused a crack in coils which had to then be replaced(thank goodness it was under warranty). We now have a different issue going on where compressor is now creating a loud noise which we now have to look at what is happening with that. This company sold me a lemon and their workmanship is absolutely horrible. Other companies that have come out have said the installation was amateur work and to add they did not even install a drain pan! We did not even know we should that until other companies came out. We have had a problem with ac unit since the beginning and they never even tried to see what was going on, instead always said drain was clogged which was not the case.Review from Martin M

Awesome company! They replaced my old system with a new air handler and condenser. They were able to do next day installation so I didn't have to be without a c. Very professional sales and installation staff. Not to mention great price. Definitely worth looking into if you have any air conditioning needs. It's reassuring to know that especially here in ******* there's a company like this to rely on in normal or emergency situations.
