  I contacted Mark at Shoreline Sewer & Drain to discuss him installing 2 septic systems on our new property. I got his contact information from the person building our house. We came to an agreement on the price, which was $15,000. He required 2/3 down so I sent him a check for $10,000 on April 18, 2022. The check cleared my account on April 22, 2022. Nothing happened for a while until I received my septic permits from the county. Once I received the permits, I contacted Mark. He said he would meet me at our property and bring the systems with him on May 14, 2022. He did show up but he did not bring the systems with him. He then told us he would deliver the systems on Monday May 16, 2022, he did not deliver the systems. He then said he would deliver them on Wednesday May 18, 2022. Late in the day on May 18th, I texted Mark and asked if he dropped off the tanks and drain fields, he text back and said tanks only and he also said that he found a distributor in Bradenton that he was unaware of. I asked him if it was a distributor for the drain fields and he replied "yes". The next day I went out to our property and the tanks were not there. On Thursday May 19, 2022 I texted Mark and asked him where are the tanks. He did not deliver them, after he said he did. He finally called me and I told him I do not deal with liars and that we want our money back. He could not understand why I called him a liar and I told him all he needs to do is read our texts, I'm not making it up. Since then I have been trying to get our money back. He said since we are cancelling the job, our refund would be processed in due time but was his lowest priority. I told him that I would drive down to wherever he wants to meet and pick up our money so he doesn't have to do anything other than write the check. He later said in a text that he had purchased two tanks and would deliver them when I am ready, at a charge. I told him I was ready that day, which was June 4th. No responses.
