As a bride you're supposed to look back at your wedding day, and feel nothing but bliss. Unfortunately, I cringe and feel nothing but frustration. Like every bride, I put so much time and thought to make sure every detail was absolutely perfect for our special day. And everything was absolutely incredible except for the florist, which is the MAIN part of the decor; The lack of floral brought my whole extremely expensive wedding look so generic. -I had 8 bridesmaids, but only made 7 bouquets -The picture of the bouquets I asked them to make that was in the contract, look NOTHING like what they actually we're -The corsages and boutonnières were wilted and fell apart before wedding -The lanterns I rented the batteries were dead -Missing the decor in contract, because "they didnt read the contract properly when they sent us the bill" -BIGGEST ISSUE: my parents passed. I wanted to feel their presence by eucalyptus as that was our favorite. Apparently it died, so they sparsely put dead babies breath, without a warning. -theyre response: I was lying about missing bouquet. I was lying about everything. Oh well about the eucalyptus. They did the best they could. It was ALL wedding planners fault. And I should have called them to come back and fix if there were problems... Which was mostly noticed minutes before ceremony started. So basically, pause your ceremony and whole wedding, so they could come back (their location is an hour away) and fix what should have been done in the first place. Nothing is their fault at all. They won't refund ANY money (not even the missing bouquet or eucalyptus I never got (you know they got a refund from their wholesaler). As I was in tears, the unprofessional employee, Celeste, (because the owner Carol was too much of a coward to get on the phone) told me I'm a horrible person to talk to. Floral is the main decor of a wedding. Made my extremely expensive wedding look extremely generic. I WANT AND DESERVE A REFUND!!!

    Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2022/06/13) */ As a respected local small business, we take pride in our work and customer service. It saddens me that this consumer was not happy with our work. We worked very hard to accommodate all the requests ( and many changes ) throughout the process. Carol and her Team were on site and would have addressed any and all issues ( missing bouquet, wilted boutonnieres and corsages ) had they been advised of such issues when these items were delivered. No one was there to accept these items and the team was told to put them in a room. We were not told of these issues until days and weeks later. In addressing the issue of the eucalyptus, our shipment of flowers were delivered two days prior to the wedding ( which was also Valentine's Day weekend ). The ecualyptus that was delivered was of poor quality and could not be used. As is stated in our contract " BLOOMING FLOWERS & ART reserves the right to make substitutions in the event the flowers received are not of the quality suitable for your wedding or special event. In this event, the integrity of the proposed color scheme will be maintained and flowers of equivalent value will be used." We substituted with Italian Ruscus, which is equivalent value to eucalyptus. The tables were set up with the eucalyptus that we were able to use and we added the Italian Ruscus. After all was set up the Event Planner told the team to take it down as that was not what they wanted. Our team then took it all down and it didnt look good. Carol told the Event Planner that there still was time to do it over and was told no. Multiple attempts at conversation around these issues have since been made and all have ended in discourse and insults to me and my team. The insults carry over to the complaint! We provided a service and products as was stated in the contract and signed by the consumer, we do not feel a refund is justified. Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2022/06/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) As a local small business you should care about your clients concerns. Whatever happened to customer service in your business? You are not even entertaining more than half of what I wrote: -The boutonnieres, corsages, AND the flower girl bouquets 100% fell apart during the wedding. There was a picture attached originally. The quality was HORRIBLE yet embarrassing -I was missing a bouquet. Why are you arguing with that? REFUND ME. I paid for 8. I didn't think I had to count them before you left on my wedding day. I assure other emotions were going on. My photographer couldn't even take pics of the girls with them, so she had to strategically pose us, and I didn't even get good pictures because of it. Also, to answer your rhetorical question I've answered several times, we didn't realize one was missing until we grabbed them to take first look pictures shortly before the ceremony started. Did you want me to put my whole wedding on hold????????????? -What about some of the décor missing that was on the contract because "you forgot to put it on the bill?" What a disaster that caused -What about the lanterns not working, because the batteries were dead. My "wedding planner shouldn't carry a tote of batteries, because what we paid for should be in working order." -The bouquets looked NOTHING like what was in the contract -Again, most importantly the eucalyptus. The sentimental value of my parents passing, and me specifically wanting to feel their presence everywhere by wanting eucalyptus was MORE than important. I expressed that to you several times. TWOOOOOO days before you realized what you received wouldn't work AND YOU DIDN'T CALL ME? My mother-in-law could have easily picked it up from her wholesaler that morning since that was the case. Mind Blown. What poor communication. Such a shame. The fact that you admitted everything looked horrible in your last statement, yet said you didn't feel I needed a refund, again MIND BLOWING! Ruined my entire wedding. I cringe at the thought I wasted more than $50K on a day that was supposed to be "special" all because of my florist!!!!!!
