Oct 18, 2024 Two days ago, I hired this company to replace some of the damaged shingles (4-5 shingles). The name of the person I dealt with is **** ******. It did not take even 40 minutes for his 2-person crew to finish the job. They charged me $750.00 Yesterday, I went up on the roof to inspect their repair work -- and discovered that they had done a shoddy job. First, they had replaced only some of the damaged shingles, not all. Second, the replacement shingles they had installed were loose. They could readily flip like pancakes and be blown off the roof **********, I emailed **** ******, detailing what I had observed. He came by today. All he tried to do was give me a song and dance -- all kinds of excuses. To summarize, he said the following:-- I did not know anything about the roof repair work.-- What was done is how the repair work is done.-- To replace adjacent damaged pieces, they would have to do more work -- and quoted price did not cover that (The quote was for fixing the damage in a proper way, not for some shoddy and incomplete work).-- He said the shingles were loose and not sitting tight because the temperature was not hot enough. When I asked how hot the temperature has to be, he said 100 degrees.-- The man was a total trip. Reminded me of a snake oil salesman I once had to deal with.
