On Sunday, Sept 10, I located a picture of kitchen cabinets on ******** Marketplace. *** standard comment from FB is "Hi, is this available?" I then added an additional comment of "I'm looking for two 30in X42in X12in. On Monday, Sept 11, the business responded back and said "$264 per piece, we have in stock." ***y then added the companies website to the ******** Messenger chat. At that time, there was nothing mentioned by the business that they had different color cabinets and the cost were different per cabinet color. I sent back a thumbs up on the website they posted and they responded with "ok great, in what color are you looking for". My response "what colors do you have? I am not really interested in white. ***y responded "please take a look at the website, we have gray, espresso, blue, modern slate, green, honey and black. My response "I like the green cabinets". ***y responded "green is a special about 2 weeks or less, $1203- includes taxes, assembly & freight". My response "what is the cost per each cabinet? Which colors are not special?" ***y responded "$422, gray, white, espresso, blue, modern slate & classic white" I responded "You told me $264 per cabinet. Is green more?". ***y responded "correct green is more $264 is for white & gray". Before I saw their comment on green is more, I sent a response that said "Ahh, no green then. I'd do the blue instead. What is the cost on that?" ***y responded $321 each". I responded with "but wen you told me the price, you didn't specify that was per those colors. Your answer was vague and that not fair for me to hear now it cost more for other colors. I went into this conversation thinking it was the price of $264 for those measurements for any color cabinet." *** I feel their original post to the cost was not specific in saying it was for a particular color not the cabinet size.** *** post on ******** does not give any specifics just a picture of white cabinets which again is misleading of the cost for the cabinets

Customer has already acknowledge that the post she inquired about was white which she already indicated that we gave her the price of $264, All of our cabinet pricing is based on color and size, which is why we then in fact asked which color was she interested in in order to price her correctly. customer has also already acknowledge that she asked if the green was more, which I then replied yes, which then indicated there was indeed a price difference. When she asked for blue, another price was then given. We cannot adjust pricing based on an assumption of customer when we have replied to her questions honestly, and in no way does our advertisement specific anything, because we are well aware of our product variation in price, color & size. which is why we ask the necessary questions to obtain the most accurate price.

We ordered cabinets from Hic and relied solely on communicating with them via email. A diagonal wall cabinet was one of the items we requested. It was very important to us. Every email from Hci included an attachment of a kitchen plan with a diagonal wall cabinet. We would not want to change it regardless of what other changes had to be made. Hic assembled and delivered our cabinets. Our contractor asked for delivery paperwork, but the person who did the delivery did not speak good English and could not understand what he needed to do.When our contractor installed the cabinets, we found out that instead of a diagonal wall cabinet the company delivered us three narrow cabinets we did not order. I contacted Hci by email for an explanation. Hci said in an email that my contractor and I approved of this change when we sat down with their designer at their shop to finalize the order. Not true.I never came to their shop and sat down with their designer since I live in Ohio. When our contractor came to the shop for verification of measurements, no one talked to him about changing our original design. Hic representative accepted my payment over the phone. No one bothered to tell me that our plan has been changed. Since Hci claims that the change in design was approved by me, I asked Hic to forward me an email in which they discussed the need to make changes to the plan. Hci could not produce any email to me on that subject or my written consent. Hic never informed me of any change in design, not in person, not by email, not by phone. It is simply a lie they came up with to cover their blunder. Hci also told me that the designer who worked on our plan is no longer with the company so there is nothing Hic can do for us. In other words, Highland Cabinetry is not responsible for what their former employee/associate did. Really'I could not even imagine that they would change anything in our plan without my consent via email.
