    Roscoe did a quote on October 24,2022 and we paid him $2156.02 for part of a job which he has never even been started. At first he responded saying he could not get supplies from Canada but should have them by the first of the year. He had offered to refund or money but we said we would wait until the 1st of the year. We contacted him mid Jan 2023 and requested payback through Zelle (which is how we paid him.) when our repayment did not come we followed up to hear that accounting only makes payment twice a month. How is that our problem? But we waited. It is now February 20, 2023. We have texted him multiple times, sent another request through Zelle and left voicemails. No response. We understand having hard times. We would be willing to work with him if he would just respond and give us some of our money back over a period of time. Very dirty.

    Hi! We are sorry for the inconvenience, but your husband and I have spoken... We sent a refund via paper check well over 2 weeks. Ago, today when we spoke he informed me that you guys are not in *******.... We were not aware that you were not in your ******* residence, nor do we have any other address for you. We will be more than happy to cancel the prior check and re submit a new check to the address of your choosing. We do not do refunds via zelle, paper checks is our policy. Again...we are sorry for the inconvenience or any misunderstanding.

    The mailbox in ******* has been checked. There is no envelope from mid Florida closets. I have requested that the check check has a stop payment on it and re-issued. And that this check should be mailed to our address in ******** which has been provided.

    And to add to the record, the owner has responded that he mailed the check over two weeks ago. This does not seem likely at this point it shouldve been received by now.

    Today is February 26, and there has been no check received at my ******* address. I have requested that the check be stopped and a new check be reissued and mailed to our Virginia address. ****** at mid Florida Closets was texted this request and our VA address on February 22, 2023. As of today he has yet to respond to my text. Given so many challenges with mailing a check and us receiving it my recommendation is that you Zelle us back our funds since that is the way that we paid you. This would give you an electronic record of both where we paid you back in October 2022 and when you send us our money, then you will have a record of how we were refunded. Also, for the record if we do not receive a response and our money in the next 7 business days, we will be left with the only option, which is to take other steps.
