Extremely disappointed in the way I was treated in a recent transaction with Allen's Auto Sales or rather "Doug" the car salesman. I financed a 2008 Toyota Camry with $1000 down and a biweekly agreement of $200 & a mystery $790 pick up payment? Although our initial agreement was $1000 down anyway it was a rushed deal i was assured that the vehicle was reliable and that I would receive assistance with any necessary repairs. Before the first payment was even due I had spent $300 in parts and labor replacing the break pads, purchased a break booster for $179 & after a verbal agreement with "Doug" to be responsible for parts and Allen's would be responsible for labor I was told that I "snuck" in to pick up the vehicle I was called to retrieve by the receptionist at the mechanic shop he told me to drop it off to a few days prior so that he could "take care" of it before he could tell me I was also responsible for a partial payment of $120 for labor at this point I made a $580 payment in good faith that the car was now fixed and not even a day later it wont start is completely inoperable and I need to put a starter on the vehicle. To alleviate the unnecessary headache the car has brought I let them come and get it. When I first got the car the breaks were going all the way to the floor and were the almost the cause of several accidents, I had a few near death experiences after I was assured the car was safe after allowing "Doug" to drive it and get it "fixed" and told that it would be "impossible" to switch me into an alternate financing contract on another vehicle I believe I should at least receive a portion of the nice amount of money I spent with them as I did sign a 30 day guarantee and have been asking for my money back since day 2.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/06) */ Contact Name and Title: Joyce P*** Contact Phone: 407-321-4414 Contact Email: joycepyle@hotmail.com On February 26, 2022 Ms. ****** purchased a 2008 Camry She paid $1000 down and agreed to make a pick up payments in the amount of $790.00 to cover the cost of her tag transfer replace renew fee, (estimated at $200.00) and her sales tax of $589.70. This vehicle was sold "As Is" "No Dealer Warranty No Manufacture Warranty" Ms ****** came to our office on March 10 and made a partial payment of $500 and explained that she had to purchase brakes. We agreed to the partial payment and made a payment arrangement with her. Around March 20 Ms ****** called and stated she needed to purchase a brake booster. We suggested that she take the vehicle to a local repair shop that we use and that they would give her a discount to install the part at our rate. She came to the office again on the 31st of March with a payment of $80 On that particular day she had agreed to pay $345 ($145 was to be posted to her pick up payment and $200 was to be posted to her actual biweekly car payment of $200) At that time she stated that she needed to purchase a starter because her car would not start and she dropped the insurance coverage off of the vehicle. Once Ms ****** dropped the insurance, we made arrangements to have the vehicle picked up. All of our vehicles as sold "As Is" "No Dealer Warranty and No Manufacture Warranty" unless the customer chooses to purchase a warranty at the time of sale. The customer is responsible for all maintenance and repairs. This is clearly stated at the time of sale and closing. This situation regarding repairs on the vehicle after it has just been purchased is not typical of our vehicles. The owner agrees to resolve this matter by paying for the labor to install the brake booster and the starter. We also noticed that one of the tires was low and it has been replaced as well. This payment of repair is an act of Good Will and does not imply any warranty nor does it obligate us to any future repairs. The customer is responsible for the purchase of the parts as it is "Her" vehicle and she is responsible for any future repairs or maintenance. The repair bills have been paid. Ms ****** may redeem her vehicle by paying the balance that is due. The balance of the Tag transfer, renew and replacement fee of $161.85 and her car payment of $200.00 She must also put the full coverage insurance back on the vehicle with the proper coverage and deductibles as required by the finance company.
