Will never submit to NGC ever again. Submitted a bunch of DMPL Morgans and they didnt grade them DMPL. When I have a bunch of other DMPL Morgans graded by PCGS and NGC. At which the ones I submitted were much more DMPL like. Totally unbelievable.

This company's, NGC, business practices are really bad!! I have been lied to repeatedly by telephone representatives; overcharged and have in several phone conversations been given lame excuses about ?? conservative fees!! I paid the fees, yet my coins were returned to me 1 coin had been returned to me 1 with slight surface debri still attached and another magically received a noticeable long scratch, which was NOT there, when I sent those coins!! NGC, the game players, makes magic happen with their customers property!! I don't mean in a good way, either!!! Folks take very good pictures before sending off your coins or whatever please cover yourselves in every way possible its your property!! I too thought this company could be trusted!! DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST, that's my advice..RESEARCH; READ REVIEWS, RESEARCH and remember this, FOOL ME 1ST TIME SHAME ON YOU, FOOL ME 2ND TIME SHAME ON??..... I don't need to lie about anyone nor anything!! Just stating my facts..????????????

I purchased a set of 2 dollar coins through the ngc, a new ****** dollar and a new peace dollar. When i got them in I was fairly excited but at first glance they were clearly not Ms 70 grade and were both loose in their casings. On closer inspection the peace dollar is a complete fake with misspelling and the front and back being rotated from each other. The ****** dollar does not immediately scream fraud, but at the very least it is not the claimed quality with obvious scratches and imperfections, and based on the other one I would not doubt it to be a fake as well. I would be very careful if you are going to use this company and I would go through a more accredited website if you are looking at buying coins.

One would think any member "PERMANENTLY BANNED" from NGC's chat board three (3) times in nearly 5 years would jump at the chance to critique a company that *** appear to have abused their discretion on practices, policies and procedures, but that has not been my experience. I have read all the complaints and reviews and, at first blush, it would seem where there is smoke, there is fire. Instead, there appears to be a clear lack of understanding and comprehension. What NGC terms, "turn-around" times is one source of contention, but a fair reading of the "Submission Form" and accompanying "NGC /NCS SUBMISSION FORM INSTRUCTIONS" makes it abundantly (and reduntantly) clear, in bold print that ***************** are approximate and are NOT guaranteed." (Emphasis mine.) There are a number of factors which can prolong the process: the unanticipated onset of the Covid-19 virus is one. It required all surfaces be properly disinfected and routinely sanitized which are necessarily labor-intensive and time-consuming. Another unavoidable factor is an unwieldy influx of submissions with the release of new Mint products over which NGC has no control. According to an interview conducted with one founding father, turn-around times in the late 1980's took 8 to 9 months! The complaints being made presently, pale by comparison. Another common complaint regards attributions and special labels, but the Rules governing them are very specific and ******* clear. In all fairness, the quite comprehensive submission form used (which would be the envy of the **** covers 14 specific areas beginning with your name and includes "shipping to" address, method, submission type, conservation services, grading tier, add-on services, imaging, total fees, payment and signature and ends with Execution of Agreement. Any seemingly minor omission delays the process. The Submission Form, is a legal document and must be filled out correctly and completely. Considering their volume, NGC is doing quite well.

I had sent in a rare coin that had a special mint error. Which made the coin more valuable than what it had been in Gold. I sent the coin in for grading and received a different coin in the mail. They claim it’s the same but I’m a certified precious Metal dealer in the state of Minnesota and I’m very detail oriented when it comes to noticing the difference. They treated me like I was a liar and that I was trying to get one over on them which definitely is not the case. Someone who works for this company is swindling coins and I think the owner needs to take a look at the staff or maybe it is the company but I doubt that. I’m not the type of person to try making them pay, I’ll take the loss and Karma comes back around so I’m just writing to inform people to be careful. Always take pictures beforehand and maybe choose PCGS with really rare coins , at this point, i personally wouldn’t trust any of them with the experience I had.
