Absolutely horrible horrible company. The Fence stopped working on more than one occasion. One of the times it was a battery. At the charging us $300 for a new collar, they sent the battery in the mail and refused to install it for us. Now the fence does not work at all, and they never fixed it Do not use this company.

I called Dog Guard and spoke to CJ in order to get a quote on an invisible fence for 2 mini Daschounds in Venice, Fl. CJ quoted me $1,900. He said if I agreed to instillation on the following Tuesday he would cut the price by $100.
I said NO, too expensive. On Monday I received a text...
Hey ****- CJ with Dog Guard here. See you tomorrow afternoon for the
    dog fence installation. 🐾
    I respond...
Not doing it ! I never confirmed this! It's too expensive!
More pressure from CJ texting me! His last sentence was...
Would still love to help you out. Let me know.
Fast forward to Wednesday. I return home after a dog walk to find 15 flags in my yard, red paint and orange paint Everywhere from a company called USIC who had marked all the Frontier cable and electric lines in my yard!!!
I immediately texted CJ. He admitted calling the company and responded to me....I Thought We Were Good.
I really want this guy fired! I would NEVER give this company any business with an obnoxious, pushy salesman like CJ who does not understand the word NO!

This is an unfortunate note that **** has left on my profile and frankly not what happened.
**** had sent me a request for pricing from my website on Thursday 4/14, she put the wrong phone number on the request so when I went to call it did not go through. She then called me and I said, "I am glad you called bc the phone number you gave me was bad" we proceeded to talk for about 20 minutes and had a very pleasant conversation that ranged obviously from her dogs and her needs with them to stay in the yard to her husbands band in Worcester MA called ******* that plays music like Chicago covers etc. She said "they are a bunch of old guys playing music but are very good" to which I responded "I will check them out" (and I actually googled it and listed to a them as well, pretty good. I did, in fact, give her a pricing of $1,900 and she said "that is expensive, is there anything you can do on price" I said "yes, I can knock $100 off if we schedule you for this coming Tuesday as I had an install reschedule and have the afternoon open" She then response, " Ok, put me on the schedule for Tuesday to hold the spot. My husband has band practice until 11pm tonight and I will let you know if we are going to cancel the install if he says 'no'" I then responded, OK, I will see you next Tuesday unless I hear otherwise. I then put in ticket to have her utilities marked (this does not cost the customer anything) for the safety of my installation crew as well as to ensure we do not hit the internet line that is buried and leave the customer without internet/tv.

Fast forward to Monday, I did, in fact send a text that read "Hi ****, see you tomorrow afternoon for the dog fence installation. She then responded "Not doing it now ! I never confirmed this. Its too expensive." I responded "Can I help with price" She said "I can get one for hundreds less CJ" I then said "Can I call? Happy to work with you. We can figure out a cost that makes sense for both of us" She then said "On my way to an appointment right now" I responded "Ok it would be like 3 mins. Are you saying you can buy one and install yourself? Happy to work with you to keep you on the schedule as I know you need it. And if you are saying you got a better price from a professional I'd be happy to beat their price and explain some differences"

At this point she didn't respond and I stop texting her as it was an obvious miscommunication and I was moving on.

Then on Wednesday I get a text from **** that says " Just curious... did you send USIC to my property to mark buried cables on my lawn???!" I responded "I did bc I thought you had said we are good unless I hear differently. Did you end up finding a solution? Would still love to help you out. Let me know" She responded "I Never said Yes! You are unbelievable. No no no do you get it now?" I then responded "Lol. I do and always did. Just trying to help. Have a great day. No one is upset here. Thanks." That was the end of that and I did not respond again. **** then waited another day and texts me out of the blue and says "FYI.... My negative experience with you has been reported to the BBB. Also posted my experience on my Venice FB page and the many dog sites I am on in Florida. Have a great day!"

I did not respond to the last text bc obviously this person is looking for a fight and I am completely not interested in arguing with her. I offered her a better price after an obvious miscommunication from the original phone call that was very pleasant to the fact we were chatting about her husbands band... Its unfortunate that there are people out there that are trying to cancel people this day in age for no reason and especially when someone is trying to help and give you a better price. I never sent any of my employees to her house to do work, I never pushed her to do anything and have never done that with any of my customers, I simply offered to help out with price as this was her reason that she didn't want this fence. I wish I could upload the screen shots of my text thread but I have written in verbatim above. **** - I wish the best to you and hope you found a way to keep your dogs safe. I will continue to help those who are in need of my services and making people and dogs happy. I hope this is read by those who view this review and understand that there is always a squeaky wheel out there with animosity to others in general. Its a shame and I wish they would understand that false reviews can harm people, businesses, employees and owners as well as their families and children. **** - I hope you can reconsider how you respond and treat people as well as small businesses.

CJ is not telling the truth. I never told him to put me on the schedule for Tuesday. That is an out right LIE. I told him during our first conversation the fence was too expensive. I did say I would consult my husband, but I knew he would agree it was too pricy. Also I live in Venice Palms which has an association. I would never agree to an instillation that quickly without writing a letter to the board. I told him that. When he texted me on Monday, April 18 and wrote "Hey Jane , CJ with Dog Guard here. See you tomorrow for the dog fence installation. 🐾". I responded " Not doing it! I never confirmed this. It's too expensive!" He continued to pressure me....
I did not want him to call me. I had already told him NO!
I would never have contacted the BBB but when I came home on WEDNESDAY and my yard was covered in flags, red paint and orange paint! I was angry! He NEVER should have sent that company to my property.
I strongly feel CJ is a bully. He doesn't take no for an answer. He crossed the line when he sent USCI to my property. I feel other possible customers should be made aware of what he did to me. I have never written to the BBB before, but this guy was unbelievable !
    Thank you for your time.
