Sarasota Ford has made multiple attempts to assist Mr. L**** to his satisfaction and resolve his concerns. Sarasota Ford has exhausted all avenues with Mr. L****, and we previously uninvited him from the Dealership for any future Sales or Service needs.Review from Anne S

Sarasota Ford spoke with ********************************* on Friday, May 10th in reference to her concerns. We reviewed her paperwork from when she purchased the vehicle on January 16th, 2024. Nothing was broken or damaged at time of sale, and paperwork was signed by *************************** acknowledging the same. *************************** did not reach out to Sarasota Ford or her salesman until May 9th, 2024 stating that her door was broken. 4 months since purchase. *************************** also stated that her rear window defroster looked "burnt." *************************** visited Sarasota Ford on May 10th as well, and we reviewed these items in person. We compared her vehicle with an in-stock, brand new, like unit, and verified that the rear window defroster looked identical. Before *************************** left, we did provide her with a repair estimate, but broken or damaged items are not covered under the factory warranty.Customer Response

I notified the salesman and made an appointment on March 20th about the broken handle NOT May 9th. I could not and did not notice the broken handle until using the vehicle for some time. The bumper to bumper warranty covers any part that breaks or does not function property so them stating that it's not covered under warranty and expecting me to pay for it is fraud. I have brought my car to another dealer and they are fixing it under warranty with no problem. This dealership does not stand behind their product or take care of the customers. Even ************* told me the part is covered under the bumper to bumper warranty.Customer Response

I provided a text of proof showing I notified the salesman on March 20th about the door handle being loose. Bumper to bumper warranty is for 3 years or ***** miles and therefore comes within the warranty period for something that was broken or broke during normal use and is therefore covered under warranty.Customer Response

The **** warranty that comes with all new vehicles covers repairs and replacements of parts that have defective materials or workmanship. ****'s factory coverage includes several protections, including 3 years/36,000 miles of bumper-to-bumper coverage and 5 years/60,000 miles of powertrain coverage.Review from D. Hello All, I would like to share my experience with Sarasota Ford service department I took my brand new Maverick in for a mandatory airbag safety recall from manufacturer the letter from Ford I received stated if recall wasn't performed they can deny my warranty coverage their commitment together with the dealer would provide me with the highest level of service and support and the parts are available I scheduled the recall service and did so two weeks in advance when I arrived for the appointment I was told they don't have the parts when I was able to get the recall performed my brand new vehicle was returned to me with the interior completely ruined nobody told me we damaged your vehicle it was just returned that way I guess hoping I wouldn't notice my dash cam was on while the repairs were made and the technician can be heard saying F it up dog just going to lay on this F headliner the process to try to get my vehicle back to the condition it was when I first left it in their care took over eight months every time I would give them the opportunity to try to correct the damage that they caused and they would just cause more damage on top of it to the point I had scratches and dents to the exterior of the vehicle in the end the chief experience officer told me he feels like the quality of service I strive they can't uphold if this is how you care for a brand new vehicle he is absolutely correct I didn't get any high level of service or support the damage they caused still hasn't been corrected properly I won't be driving a Ford after all this and definitely won't be recommending this dealershipSarasota Ford Response

Thank you Mr. H for your feedback! We are not sure why you continue to reach out. Sarasota Ford covered the replacement of your dash, as well as, paid the local body shop to remove any dents or scratches that you stated happened here. We agreed during your last conversation with our Fixed Ops Director that Sarasota Ford isn't a good fit for you, and we invited you to experience the competition.Customer Response

My reviews aren't an attempt to reach out to anyone other than the consumer, they are posted so other consumers like myself can research whether they want to give a particular company their business based off my experience.Review from ANIBAL C

On 6/13/23 I purchased 2022 F150 platinum at value of $102k. During and/or A aftermarket installation I learned that the truck was taken in water from the driver side and when the tech removed the rubber floor mats he found a huge soaked of water in the carpet and under. Now this has been going for over 6 months the truck had 3 visits over 45 days at the dealer and Sarasota Ford refused to repair the leak because they wrongly claimed that the water is coming in from the area that one of the installation took place. They even showed a fake video of water leaking in I say fake because I have conducted my own water leak test and they is zero water coming in from the area in question. They two reasons Sarasota Ford is covering this matter 1- They do not want to loose their own aftermarket installation of over 8k and if they can proof it happens due to my aftermarket installation they is no lemon law claim case. This is a simple case of misleading and fraud. Now you need to ask yourself the question do I really need to do business with Sarasota Ford. God speakSarasota Ford Response

*************, the video I sent you is of your truck. I am not sure why you are convinced it is a "fake video". To reiterate, we are also not stating it is the only source of water intrusion as there may be another leak. I am sure it did not magically stop leaking from the firewall location however. Unfortunately, now that you are threatening legal action again, it is advised that you use another facility for all of your sales and service needs. Your defamatory accusations, repeated bad surveys, tone, and treatment of our employees has led to this request. BBB cases, threatening news coverage and the Attorney General are counterproductive to getting your vehicle fixed. We wish you the best.

Okay here we go be transparent show the whole video it is easy to get a water hose and pour water direct where you want the leaks to be. It is a miracle we just had 48 hours of none stop heavy rain and no signs of water leaking but I did find where the water is coming from and if your top gun water expert did not find it they is something wrong or it because Sarasota ford loop hole for classify it as no lemon law issue or is that you guys do not want to loose all of the aftermarket parts install by someone Sarasota ford hired now this is the typical response from a already guilty dealership to accuse the victims me of abusing their employees but they off course not going to admit it I challenged Sarasota ford to produce any abusive behavior that I created the only negative action from me what on 2/14/24 I was being accused of lying I said something that can out of my mouth but I immediately apologized for. Deformation does exits of what am saying I personally experienced from Sarasota ford my other mistakes was buying and dealing with these idiots that think they are above the laws fraudulent action is a criminal offense did you know that bill or you are so stupid to bring any of your commons up am glad that at least the leak maybe coming from another area SO WHY did you not look for it and fixed your are the fixed operation DIRECTOR! and yes I just signed the legal documents and obtained me a law group that deal with idiots alike yourselves and yes I am insulting your character as you deserve also for the record if I choose to use your services department legally you can not refused because you guys are working and representing Ford Company and the vehicle is under Ford warranty as well the over $3k of extended warranty that you guys so me but not worried you will not see me stepping on your dealership it SUCK!Review from Carol F
