    Thank you in advance for your help. This is *****'s son filing the complaint on her behalf (***** **** XXX-XXX-XXXX) The rear bumper cover of her new S60 Volvo became dislodged and she took the car to Volvo of Sarasota. on 4/29. They charged her $505.58 on 5/9 to put the bumper cover back on. I am not disputing their claim that it was caused by some sort of impact from underneath the car, but I am completely astonished by how they took so much money from my 85 year old mother. When I arrived in Sarasota to drive her home on 5/29, the bumper cover was dislodged. We drove the car back to West Hartford, CT and took the car to the dealership locally and they could not see what was done to fix the bumper (I.E. no new clips were used and it was not glued). My son popped it back in place and it came dislodged again in a day. I am guessing they just popped it in place and charged her $505.58. I understand that there is a service charge but charging $505.58 to temporarily "fix" it is definitely taking advantage of a senior citizen. I am going to have the car properly fixed in West Hartford so I need the dealership to refund at a minimum most of the $505.58.
