The owner is apparently a scam artist. He took a $300 deposit to wax and polish my boat. He gave me three separate dates over a month that he would start and didn't show up for any of them. The excuses ranged from a "fractured" ankle, a relative dying and his mother having surgery. I asked for my deposit back, he said he would return it and another week went by. No refund. He SUDDENLY claims that he did a day of "work" on my boat and I should pay for that and "supplies" he bought to do the job he failed to show up for. This excuse was only offered after I pressed him again to simply refund my money. My boat has a camera. He wasn't doing "work" on my boat. The ****** requires you to check in as a vendor and pay a fee. No one from his company checked in. This doesn't matter because he was never hired to work for a day rate, he was hired to do a job for a set price. He's still refusing to refund my money and has blocked my number and stopped responding.

This is a 44ft yacht, normally it would be $700 to $800 dollars for services. We did wash and detail, because we can't just can't do wash and wax like they were asking; the wax would be over over imperfections that need to be buffed out and detailed first.

I am rejecting this response because:

Its both sad and hilarious that this guy has stolen from so many people off that he doesnt remember who he quoted or what boat hes been on. He went to my boat, inspected my boat, gave me a quote for $1200 (see attached) to wash AND wax my boat, took a $300 deposit to do the job and now he claims in his feeble response that my boat would be $700-$800 and that he cant do the services hes quoted in writing after inspecting my boat in person?

He did not wash and detail my boat. He did no work, took my deposit and then blocked my number. I have a camera on my boat, and my ****** requires contractors to check-in. No one from his company set foot on my boat after his inspection. Im not the only complaint online about his practice of taking deposits and then refusing to do the work. If you give this company money, expect to be ripped off.

    Sincerely,
