    June 1st I got an estimate from Mr. ***** to replace a door. A $1,600 deposit was sent quickly after. I was told the job would be done in approximately 3 weeks from estimate. Every week since he has promised to come out, followed with a text and an excuse as to why he cannot and delays it to the following week Only not to show up every single time.. it has now been 2 1/2 months. I finally said enough and requested my deposit returned or at least give me the door that I paid for and will have someone else install it. Since then my text messages are not going through and he will not answer his phone. I do plan to take him to court for this if I do not receive a refund. I have screenshots proving everything I have said to be true.

    Miss **** ****** received a refund of $1700.00 in Form of cashiers Check. I only owed her $1600.00. My Wife did a form with our Company letterhead. I met her August 21st. She signed the paper and received her refund. Now if she doesn’t remove this complaint.  I will take her to court for lies and Slander. I really don’t understand this at All. She was happy. I had the door I special ordered and now I’m stuck with the door. I can not return a special order item. Lowes and **** ***** has same policy. This is not right and I want this removed NOW.  I had some personal issues and couple times she had Engagement so she couldn’t make this happen to get the door installed. I take responsibility and she has refund. I have all the copies she signed. Now this will be the end CB of this situation. I hope you understand and let her know she can and will get in trouble for this CD matter.  Thanks. Billy *****.  *** ********

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

    I filed the complaint BEFORE I received my refund. Since making this public I did finally receive my refund and am satisfied.

    I gave the company $5000.00 to purchase windows for a job he was to install them by Feb 28th, 2023, He then said that the delivery person dropped the pallet of windows and they all broke. He hadn’t kept me informed and wasn’t returning calls. Then finally he answered me and said he was having family issues and would be able to put them in on July 18th. He never showed up and now will not respond to any of my calls or texts. My niece called him and he answered her call.

    Dates of transactions: 3/13/23 paid $50.00 for "refundable" estimate...3/18/23 paid $1,200.00 deposit. Total of $1,250.00 paid to Billy H**** ahead of shower remodel project. Billy's subcontractor, Timothy J********, did all of the work which we ended up having to directly pay in two seperate payments at $1,500.00 on 4/1/23 & $2,250.00 on 4/3/23. We also paid for the materials. Billy did none of the work yet he kept the $1,250.00 paid to him initially. He has not responded to our text messages or phone calls. There is no justification for him to not refund the $1,250.00 back to us.

    These people are totally Wrong. Have had to pay to have job done and finished. This So called Customer was problems from the start and got lit worse.  She is Wrong and her Husband. Took advantage of my Generosity. I want nothing in return and give them nothing in return. Thanks.  Billy H****

    Yes. Have read the complaint against my Company.  I did not or no one from my company did the work on this job at all. Another company was called and he took complete control of the job. This customer caused her own problems. She had changes to the original proposal to do. That’s when I walked away from the job. I want nothing in return.  I would like this complaint removed from the BBB. Thanks So much for your cooperation.  Billy H****

    I am rejecting this response because:

    As Billy states in his message, he "...did not...work on this job at all".  This confirms what we stated in our complaint to BBB that "Billy did none of the work yet he kept the $1,250.00 (deposit) paid to him initially".  (The other company called was at Billy's direction to his subcontractor, Timothy J********.  Also, the changes made to the original proposal was at Billy's suggestion due to his miscalculation of having us order and pay for more than twice as much tile as was needed.)  The fair and reasonable resolution to our complaint would be for Billy H**** Floor Covering & Remodeling, LLC to refund the $950.00 portion of the deposit as verbally agreed to previously.  Once this check is received by us and clears, we will then be able to notify BBB that we are satisfied so that they can then close the complaint.
